I don't know. Dak is tough. No doubt about that. However, I don't think the hits were al that bad. It is football. They are supposed to hit and tackle.
I think maybe the Oline coach should be fined by Jerry for the horrid protection.
Haha... You're Silly!

A ref just stands there and watches Hewitt launch the crown of his helmet straight into Dak’s lower rib cage. I was hoping Hewitt paralyzed himself.

It’s blatantly obvious that NFL refs are biased against the Cowboys.

It’s funny romo was historically never protected from late hits. And I think it’s the exact opposite of what dak is going through. Romo was always squirrelly and dipping and diving . And would throw at the last second and duck to absorb a big hit. Kinda roll with it. So nothing ever looked too flagrant bc that was standard things to see. But If you looked at the defenders actions it was always way late and should’ve been called more.

That second hit was clearly a penalty. The tackler lead with his head and speared Dak. But there were more than 2 late hits. Maybe they didn't deserve fines, but they should have been flagged. Its not that I am complaining about the yards we should have gotten from the penalties, but when a team is clearly targeting the QB for hits like that a flag or two early will send a message to the defense they can't take illegal shots at the QB. Not flagging the hits early was a green light to keep hitting him later or illegally.

It was the same with Romo. He'd get blatantly blasted and there would never be a call.

There was also another hit where he was hit and picked up off his feet. No call. Complete BS.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, did Garrett get some tape of this to the league office? Not kidding, how did the refs allow Dak to take this beating and not call it?

He may need to start crying like Brady and Rodgers. I’m being serious. I’m getting tired of Dak being thrown around like a damn ragdoll and not getting any calls made his way. I know he’s tough but dang dude.
We don’t agree on much but on this one 100 percent

THE PLAYERS LEARN NOTHING whatsoever if they get away with the act itself and only get a fine afterwards. Dak was clearly hit late often and for the refs to swallow their whistles on those, is stunning and shows the complicit bias against all things JERRY JONES. I don't like JJ but in the spirit of fairness, its flat wrong.

Dak hardly gets it. Now the story is, he’s getting hit more than other QBs. Watson has been sacked 18 times, Dak 7. Now these guys are trying to leverage what Romo actually faced and impose it on Dak, when there is ZERO historical precedent for Dak.

Plus, Dak also got a free 15 yards tacked on a drive when they said the DL hit his head and did nothing of the sort. And the guy was gifted the whole field his last drive for PI when there was none.

Sacks and QB hits/roughing the passer are different.

Dak should learn this.

Do you remember how Rodgers went down like a ragdoll during one of our roughing the passer penalties? That hit on rodgers was not as bad as some of the hits on Dak, yet the officials called that a penalty right away. But there is no doubt Rodgers sold it well. I will try to find the video.

yes I know, and Dak was ranked FIRST in least QB pressures well into this season. So now we got one game that’s supposedly some precedent for Dak and contrary to even popular belief, Dak had all the time in the world the second half when Moore basically fed Zeke the ball the whole third quarter and wore down the Jets defensive front. And even the sack that happens was Dak’s own fault.

You're talking about the packers game when the game was seemingly (from the refs point of view?) was out of reach?

Are you saying the guy did not hit his head at all?
