Before the season started it was voted that Wentz had way more help than Dak. He had the number 1 DL, number 1 OL, number 1 WR corps, top RB corps and a top 3 TE and maybe best TE corps in the game. Yet time and time again Wentz has had a losing record. Go back to the beginning of last year and tell me with a honest face that Dak was surrounded with more talent

Lol, awful. Ertz, Alshon, Djax, Aggie, Godert, 2 good rbs and a top 5 oline. Poor poor Wentz and his lack of talent.

Absolutely he is. Field commander....he is. He showed me he’s a guy I trust going into big games with. He had two very poor decisions tonight.but gosh dang what a game he put in. Just a great spirit in him...never quits and fights. Fighting Philly players goes a loooong way in my favoritism for liking a Cowboy. You can do some bad stuff,but give me that? Door is open..
Wentz? You saw what you saw.. he’s good too,but not field commander good

Huh?

Wentz needs a bunch of basketball players or he can’t complete a pass.

His oline has been far more consistent over the last few years. He has weapons everywhere and still not as good as Dak.

Dak is better than the sum of his parts and I’d take him over Wentz.

That said, Dak doesn’t help his case with brain dead throws like the forced pass to Austin, or throwing behind receivers chronically, or spinning himself into sacks.

A lot of effort is being made to say how much Wentz sucks....well congrats, Dak is apparently better than a bad QB...aim high?

Dak’s improving and is already better than Wentz. Pretty sure you used to trash Dak and say Wentz was better, so kudos for manning up and changing course.

There’s no reason to believe Dak will stop working his butt off and looking to improve. QBs keep getting better even into their 30s if good health permits. Romo was at his very best in 2014, at age 34. Dak’s never been hurt and is already a pretty good QB.

Now Eagles fans and Wentz fans are excusing Wentz by saying how much better would he look if he had Cooper or Zeke. Even though all off season long the NFL pundits had Philly ranked above the Cowboys because they believed that Wentz has head and shoulders better than Dak and that Philly had the better roster over the Cowboys. And now Philly fans are talking about how they should have traded for Cooper, even though at the time of the trade, they along with everyone else was declaring how they won the trade wars by getting Golden Tate and how the Cowboys were foolish to give up a first for Cooper.

They claim that Dak needs certain parts around him and the perfect situations, while defending Wentz for not having the certain parts around him or the perfect situation for him to thrive as the elite QB that they believe him to be. Saying that if Wentz had this or that player, while their knock on Dak was that he couldn't be successful if he had this or that player. And that great QBs can elevate the team around themselves and don't need as much help.

Dak could throw for 500 and 5tds with no picks against the NE defense and our fan base would trash him. This isnt new. They act like since we dont have one of the elites that we dont have a QB. We can win with this man.

The biggest weakness Dak has is getting out of the pocket and making plays when the line breaks down. He just does not have the quick twitch to get out of there.

That, and the once or twice a game behind the WR throw.

It was a good game for Dak. It would have been great if he had not thrown that pick into double coverage when all we needed was a FG to seal the game!

Yeah, Philly and Wentz are hard to figure. He seems to just try too hard. He has the talent but something is missing that you can't quite put your finger on. He has all the physical attributes you want but they can't put it together with him on the field.
