I think that’s the point. He does perform, and treats it as business as usual. I’m a league full of outsized personalities and guys doing choreographed dance numbers after routine plays this guy keeps making jaw dropping plays and hogs back like he caught a five yard curl. It’s just refreshing, and I don’t mind theatrics

What’s the most celebratory we’ve seen him, shooting through the uprights that one time? Lol

My intention wasn't to disparage Amari, but to reinforce why bring up personality. Dez was a fire under this team during several good runs. Dez ended up overpaid because his game was the Marion Barber of WRs. Amari deserves top dollar and could end up being very worth it much later in his career. He's an amazing athlete.

I am just sensitive to the "shut up and play ball" mentality to these young dudes. Let them be who they are. Because in the end I think only the message boards and talk shows really care about it.

agreed, and I didn’t think you were. Like I said I don’t have any issue with these guys out there having fun and celebrating their accomplishments whatsoever. BUT Amaris completely opposite subdued serial killer demeanor is endearing lol.

Agreed man, Amari is a stone cold mechanic, dez was a beast. I'd rather pay the mechanic long term.

I'm a bit remissed as I did not mention the assassins toughness, he's been dealing with injuries all season and yet he continues to show up and leave victims in his wake;)

Never understood the Dez hate; frankly it’s just stupid.

That said, Cooper is clearly the better receiver; his route running is superb.

This was the best trade I can think of in recent memory.

Don't understand the comparison, Dez produced when his QB was in tune with his skill set , Amari is producing with Dak. He started looking pedestrian in Oakland with Carr, which is why he was traded. Personally I appreciate both for their production regardless of their individual personality's.

Get off Dez nuts
Me and one other guy were only guys on this board that were on his nutz when trade 1st happened

Pretty much everyone else thought it was the end of the world..lol

The old thread I made when it happened saying how smart it was is a pretty funny read now

Amari Cooper can make the most ridiculous catch and just jog back to the huddle with no emotion..lol

He is the anti-Dez in every way possible
Dez was a ball of dingle-berries. He was the anti-Irvin who made the plays. Dez made some, but got lost in the lime-light and missed the truly big ones.
