The Good- I said last week there wasn't much good I could find against the Jets this week there were a lot of things the Cowboys did well. They scored early and often, they got FOUR turnovers (I'm shocked) the coaches on both sides of the ball put together good game plans (finally), they got pressure on Wentz, and ran the ball pretty much when they wanted. Oh and one more thing I told you that you shouldn't cut Maher!

The Bad- Dak played solid but what the hell are you thinking throwing deep into double coverage to 5'8" Tevon Austin? You had a chance to bury and embarrass the Eagles right then and there but you got way too cocky and greedy.

The Ugly- This team continues to show just how undisciplined they are when it comes to all of these freakin penalties. The Cowboys had a chance to get off the field but Jaylon Smith hits the quarterback in the head and what happed during that drive the Eagles scored. Then the Cowboys were pounding the ball in the fourth quarter and what did they do, holding on Tyron Smith, holding on Jason Witten. Over and over again the Cowboys have a chance to destroy a team but keep them in it with all of these penalties and I'm not surprised the Cowboys are second in the league in penalties!

The bottom line is Garrett and the Cowboys get a stay of execution with the win last night now they can rest and hopefully get healthy during the bye week!

Yeah...
He took a shot like that in Miami. After a 3 game skid, I wouldn't take any greedy shots like that just yet. At least not to Tavon Austin. Maybe if Amari or Gallup was there. At least his confidence has grown...?

Yes to the penalties. I'm glad we won but on teams like the Patriots and Vikings, they'll likely capitalize on those penalties.

The Good- We won a big regular season game last night.
The Bad- Our Head Coach’s record against teams with a winning record (including playoffs) is 27-45
The Ugly- Our 76 year old GM “til death do us part” thinks this head coach is “one of the best”.

I prefer aggressive Dak, that was a bad decision but the old dak dink and dunk scared to throw into any coverage, I dont want that guy back.. he will learn from it, most likely would have better better of that were Gallup or Amari that could go fight for the ball TA not so much lol

I agree with most but that JS penalty was nearly unavoidable, he had shot at blocking that pass and his momentum swung his arm downward and it actually hit the shoulder pad hard and slid into the helmet..kind of ticky tack because he didnt contact the helmet with purpose or intent but we know these are called..not saying it shouldnt but that was an accident and not a penalty im upset about..

dak being more aggressive I like it..but yes dont do that too often unless you have leaper like Gallup back there and we needed the score deperatly..

Defense played the best they have all year..good stuff

Great win, but what now?
I will not get over hyped from this. I still see any game as winnable, but also any game as losable.

I need to see them go on a 5-2 run over the next 7 goes against stiff competition. Then win their last 2 against less than stiff competition,

LOL…great win against a divisional opponent, yet still finds a way to take a shot at the QB who admitted being a little greedy with a three-score lead.

It's like getting mad at Leon Lett for his fumble in the Super Bowl — had it worked, it was just icing on the cake.

Cowboys fans, baby.

Dak also got greedy on that second down sack with Pollard available in the flat. That play was bigger imo as it was a one score game. Next play was a sack, then a punt, giving the Eagles a chance to tie and completely reverse momentum. Overall though Dak played well making some really nice throws.

Those two penalties on the Eagles TD drive handed them 7 points. Both penalties were legit. Got to be smarter than that.

Coaching was great in all aspects. Got to give Garrett credit for having the team ready and for that fourth down which lead to the TD and squashing the Eagle's chance at turning the tide. Huge play. I didn't understand people freaking out in the game thread when the D softened up with a good lead. Giving up a long drive was far favorable to risking a quick strike at that point. Good mix of aggression and protecting the lead.

A switch seems to have flipped with Zeke. Second half of Jets game he came out finishing his runs and punishing tacklers. He took it up another notch yesterday. I'll take that over a softer, home run hitter every day.

Good win at home against a div rival, albeit an average to weak team overall. Encouraging.

I'm talking about putting up a 50 spot embarrassing!
This is what people do not understand. Are we happy with the win? Yes! Did we do a lot of GREAT things? Yes! Are there things we could do better? Yes!
It is fair and it should be expected that we discuss things that could be done better. There is nothing wrong with creating and MAINTATING a culture of dominance! That is what has been missing for far too long in Dallas. And this is the primary reason our results have been so poor in the past 25 years. Doing enough to just win a game...or just make the playoffs...or just win 1 game in the playoffs....for too long that is where the bar has been set. If you have a chance to shutout an opponent...then SHUT them out....if you have a chance to score 50...then score 50. When you don't reach your potential...then you will eventually come up short....because you have allowed a culture of "do enough to get by" to be established!!!

But I am very happy with the win.

Yes! This! I was yelling at the TV, "you had him in the flat, dummy!" That play to Pollard would have at least gotten 5-6 yards, if not a first down. No one was covering him.

I agree on the penalty. Then the next penalty I thought was complete HS! These guys are coming in fast, they can't stop like the refs think they can. And he hit the WR with his shoulder, what's the problem?

The ugly is twice as long as the good in a game where we crushed a tough division opponent.

Yeah, that makes sense
