We ain't getting him.

I would be happy as hell if they got Atkins for a mid round.

or adams for a first.

dont see either happening but a fan can hope.
People crap on Crawford but he was good enough inside but had the flexibility to play outside. That flexibility was big

BUT, w/ Quinn doing well opposite DLaw, and Hill maybe needing some time to develop, Atkins' size would be nice to see

We'll likely have to wait until someone who values one-tech DTs becomes the Cowboys DC. Would Kris Richard be willing to back someone to fill that bill if he was awarded that title? That remains to be seen. It seems pretty obvious by now that Rod Marinelli isn't. Beyond that, who knows for sure?

I strongly suspect we'll have to wait 'til Marinelli retires before that question is answered. Atkins is 31 years old and on the downside of his career at 300 lbs., which is a 3-tech. I'm less than excited about him. He's had 3 sacks in 7 games this year and isn't getting any younger. I'd be inclined to pass.

Havent heard any rumblings in the media about a trade, so we may be quiet. But thats also not etched in stone

that's not what you said though. They also traded for Robert Quinn this off season. so they do in fact trade for talent. Maybe not the talent you want or think they need, but they do trade for talent.

True, I guess I forgot about the Quinn trade, i thought he was signed. Like I said, Don't mind being wrong. Wish they'd trade more.

Not a sexy name, but I would make a run at Tyeler Davidson, Atlanta dt.
6’2 309lbs, strong as a bull inside, can move the pocket a bit and Dallas liked him during the draft process a few years back. He is kind of an Antwaun Woods clone.
He is a free agent this year, so the Falcons will probably part for a very late pick.

Fixing the middle of the D-line, something most of us have been begging for, would go a long way in helping us reach the promised land.

I really don't want to give up a first for a Safety, but a combo of a second and a third from the next couple of drafts for a stud DT wouldn't be the worst thing.

There is no and will never be any promise land with a Garrett coached team. No guts, no Glory!!!

snacks harrison

I reviewed some of his game footage and he does not look anything like he did with the Giants.

Having said that, I would still take him if they wanted to just give him away.
- It does not really help the Lions cap because his 2019 salary is only 1M.
- His 2020 salary is 8.5M which means the Cowboys would only value him for 2019.
