It looks like Jerry is trying to do everything he can to help JG make the playoffs. He knows only having superior talent will make JG succeed. Jerry knows JG sure ain't going to do it with his coaching skills.

In pass coverage yes he’s a huge upgrade. But In run D he’s not worth 2 1sts of an upgrade. And run D has been the biggest weakness since Indy last year

Expecting one of Adams' caliber is hardly realistic to think of in terms of it being cheap. We're either willing to step up or we're not.

So is Ramsey and yet the Eagles, with a dire need for CB help, wouldn't make a decent offer. But now they might pay heavily for a SS?

This is his third year. Rookie deals are for 4 years so we only get him at the $5.5m AAV price point for a year and a half. Then you can trigger the 5th year option but the price goes up because he was a first round pick.
