Point is, every QB is going to have bigger days against mediocre/bad defenses and struggle more against good ones. I'm not saying Dak is as good a downfield thrower as Mahomes or Wilson, but you shouldn't throw out a blanket accusation when reality makes it illegitimate.

Wonder how the Dak haters club will reply to that

The funny thing is that will completely go over their heads, Dak contributed to those teams being in the lower portion of pass defense. If they hadn't played against Dak they'd be higher.

I don't even consider that critical thinking, but it won't get picked up by the majority of them.

I got an idea, let's look at those who want to switch Dak for an unknown guy while trading 3 #1 picks post histories and see how often they've been right over the years. I'd be willing to bet they'd be right less often than the hit rate for top 20 QBs.

so were saying that o line protection is important? fair enough not until this year was the vaunted Dallas line in the top 10 for pass protection. 2016 they were middle of the road 13th then fell to 15th in 2017, 28th in 2018 this year they are 6th.

and if you're talking defense being gawd awful we weren't too far behind.Heck aint convinced weve turned the corner yet.

supreme receivers please not until cooper came last year did our receiving corps improve. And i wouldn't call it supreme. This year before injuries id say they were on that path and can return there. Please don't try to tell me the aging dez bryant and Witten in 2017. Even in 2016 they were on the way out. Beasley and Terence Williams graded higher

anyway Its not worth going back and forth I can continue to find stats to support my argument as can you.
It ties up bandwitdth needlessly dak is here long term you might want to get used to it
