Jerry let Ware go because we were rebuilding and he had a chance to join an already stellar defense in Denver. Jerry knew we weren't going anywhere soon and he did him a favor. He didn't play any better in Denver than he did in Dallas he was awesome in Dallas.

Marty B was let go in 2011 and 3 teams and 6 years later he joined the 2017 patriots. He was such a cog that they let him go to Green Bay the very next year.

Amendola was on our practice squad in 2008. Then spent a year on the Eagles practice squad before joining the Rams where he actually got to play in an NFL game . It wasn't until 9 years later that he won a Superbowl with the Patriots.
Hey, dude, I was simply answering the question. I agree w/ you in principle, but the truth is we have had a few players go to other teams and play better while winning the super bowl. Saying Nuh uh doesn't make it not so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They definitely got hot in the playoffs but were not the better team that season as we swept them in regular season. They had a great DL which pressured and disrupted Brady and Eli made a huge play to close the game out.

Giants winning it all that year is one of the best examples that the best team doesn’t always win in single elimination tourney. It’s why they’re called upsets.
Disagree. A dominant pass rush can make a team "the best team".

Of course. All WR's drop balls, no exceptions. It's up to the coaches to minimize the damage.
But how do you do that, when they drop several in one game? You can't just run the ball for the rest of the game. When the play designs are working, but the receivers just can't hold on, I don't see what the coaches can do to stop the bleeding.

Dallas has had and has now a large number of the most talented NFL players in the league during Garrets tenure. I’m not a Garret hater. I always hoped he would learn and evolve but he has not.

Many of our most talented players moved on to teams where they won super bowls and their talent suddenly got better out from under Jerry and Garret.

There is no way you can take the talent on this team and lose to 2019 Jets unless there are fundamental serious errors and lack of coaching talent on this team.

From observing Dallas games and Patriots games you see where Belichek does not just prepare his team against the other team and their play book. He literally plans and coaches his team how to defeat the other teams 11 players on the field. It really is like Garret is coaching a checkers game while Belichek is coaching chess.

Garret just does not see the big picture and that is why he loses to the worst teams in the league. I imagine in Patriot prepping the players actually study the guys they will be matched up against week to week and Belichek and his staff likely already have player vs player templates and scheme to defeat each opposing player, not just the opposing plays and scheme which is also important.

If you ever watch Alabama play, you see the same depth of coaching and preparation. That is why they win.

That is why so many talented Cowboy players have wasted their careers under Garret. He had his shot and time to adjust and he failed.

Alabama wind because they have whole team of 4 and 5 star recruits.

Why are they dropping passes? Is it a constant thing? If it is, then personnel acquisition was poor.

Hopefully, it's an anomalous series of drops that helped contribute to the 3 losses.

You ever notice Belly's WR's seldom seldom seldom drop passes? Think about that.

Illegal stick'em!!! lol Just kidding, but it could be the receivers have more confidence in the throws they're getting.

The NFL is fixed, period. Proof, Egals winning their 1st SB with a backup QB. 4th and goal, Matt Ryan tosses a pick in Philly was more than enough proof in the pudding yet once again.

Not to mention cry baby Rodgers wins the refs gave him thus far. The list goes on.
"Pssst, Fughettabout it, da beauty of it is no one's gonna believe it. Oh and BTW, for this week, the Giants are a card table.
When it gets cold, their legs fold." ;)

Doubtful that that facet alone would cause this many drops.

Bad practice habits? Not enough drill?

Don't forget, Coop was known for a myriad of drops in OAK. So, did we acquire the wrong player?

Considering the turnaround last year, no, we didn't. Also, his route running is absolutely spectacular, and I think that helps Dak's confidence tremendously, and not just with his throws to Cooper.

OK, but then you have to take the drops, because they come w/ the player. And once again, that's on the HC/GM. Because the problem was already there.

Duderino, my question was directed to the original poster but you obliged to answer for him. No big deal, I am sure there are a few more that went on to play and win a Superbowl with some other team. For every one that you can name I can name 10 that didn't, but the three you gave weren't very good endorsements and you tried to stretch Church in there too.
One we let go on purpose, another was a headcase, and one was a total project that developed nearly 10 years later.

I just don't see much to rue about.

Duderino? WTH is that? An attempted cheap insult? You got owned and can't take it so you throw insults?

If you can't take discussion, step aside.

I gave credit to their DL for being the difference.

I just don’t believe they were best team in the league. It’s not the first time and won’t be the last we had an upset in the Super Bowl.

I cannot help it, but this is another ******* post!!! Don't blame the players, are you kidding me? The only player that has a ring that"s left us is D Ware. And he didn't get better he just finally had a better defense around him and he helped Von Miller, and vice versa.

You're telling me that Brandon Carr is better, that Scandrick is better, that the other defensive back from LSU got better, that Beasely is better, the only player that left that has a ring is Ware.
Geez.
