Exactly!! and we already blew it by not having this attitude after the first 3 games/ L-L-L is not what I call a need-to-win-now attitude and that is on the limousine culture of this team and it's beta-male coach.
So NOW it IS win-now or we ain't goin nowhere except to the usual mediocrity spot.
Yeah I mean the Eagles aren't going away. I think it will come down to week 16.

Cowboys won't be missing T. Smith, L. Collins, Cooper, et al like they were in the Jets game.

Still, after watching the Cowboys under Landry and Johnson, in division games, anything can happen...
They should have still beat the Jets without those guys. I get what you are saying but still...

That game might be their kryptonite in the end, but I don't see that happening again.

Tonight will be a comfortable win, and then it gets uncomfortable for a while.

theres nothing comfortable about a dallas game

not even up 37-10 do i feel comfortable

Tonight, the Cowboys get to face the worst safeties in the NFL once again, and it won't be pretty.

Garrett's already thinking ... "We'll run the ball 50+ times! They'll never expect it!"

The Bears? Seriously? Did you see how inept that offense was yesterday against a team we man handled?
While I'd love to agree, the biggest reason we "manhandled" the Eagles was because we got two early turnovers.

yes but ...the Jets
Yea. I agree. I still can't get over the fact we let the Jets beat us. Nobody but Dallas even let's them get close. For that reason alone I still want Garrett gone. Same as with tonight versus the Giant's. Will we get the Eagles Cowboys or the Jet's version. We'll soon find out.

Wrong.
We won't see what this team is truly made of until they play the Vikings and other threatening teams such as the Pats, Rams, Lions, Bills, and Bears. If they want to make noise in the playoffs, they have to prove that they can beat guys like this (which so far, we see that they cannot.)

That’s literally what he said. Almost word for word.

There are no easy games failure to prepare is preparing to fail . Must win the games you should win and this is one of them hope we are not taking them lightly .

This is a different team than we faced before . This QB can make plays Eli could not and as we all know it takes less than a handfull to change the outcome of the game

They still have a horrifically bad defense that doesn't matchup with Dallas at all.

Oh how a win and then a bye week can cloud minds.

OP stated all the reasons Dallas could easily lose this game tonight.

"Tonight, the Cowboys get to face the worst safeties in the NFL once again, and it won't be pretty. The Giants have a terrible pass rush, below average linebackers, and a Swiss cheese secondary."

It won't be "easy" tonight. Garrett coached teams don't do easy.

That's what he was saying - that AFTER the Giants game is when the real tests will start.

The only thing that will make me feel better about this team is to exceed what they’ve done the last 23 seasons. At least make it to the NFC championship. Regular season wins are good in that they hopefully position you for success in the playoffs but at some point this HC and the stars on this team have to produce in the playoffs otherwise, they are just perennial pretenders.
Agreed, but you and both know that Garrett isn't able to bring us to this spot, he has proven it. He is terrible against good coaches, and a horribly inefficient at keeping the players from drinking the koolaid.

I think at this point all we can do is enjoy what will probably be a 7 and 9 season and watch howdy doody finally exit the building.

The usual excuse for a close game between division opponents that are really far apart in talent in that they are division opponents but that won't fly here. Good teams beat bad teams badly. I agree, once they start with MIN and the rest of the schedule, we will learn a little more about this team but that really starts with taking care of bidness tonight.

The Giants are a bad team, lost 4 in a row and I don't care if they think the Taliban is coming to town, they are not good enough to beat the Cowboys unless the Cowboys allow that. This game isn't about the Giants, it is about the Cowboys being what their supposed to be, a true contender.

This isn't GB running into a resurgent Chargers team getting starters back; this is about one team that is superior to another showing that early and often. Do not let them hang around, limit the mistakes and penalties and keep whatever is left of their fandom quiet.

This is a statement game. They've got rough water up ahead and they need to prove to themselves that they're ready in that pond in NY.

Stats will fall from the rafters again. Dallas 35, Giants 17.

And then it begins. We'll finally get to see what we really have here.

Outside the NFC East, where the real football is played.
Might need to check with the authorities here but I believe that's the first time I've seen "thwacking" in this forum. erod, well played.
