I can see plenty positive and your life must suck as a fan when you get overly optimistic only to be let down. You’re the type that probably has wild mood swings and reactions to every play and every game. The good news is if you’ve been a fan long enough than you must be used to the let down, congrats.

I bet you’re one of the several people I mock in the live game threads that call the game over and saying everyone sucks after the other team scores first or if we don’t score on every drive. Delusional people like you keep me entertained.
You would be 100% wrong. I am able to see the good and the bad with this team. I'll believe you can see something positive when you actually post something positive.

Aaron Rodgers didn't do anything, the Saints didn't score a touchdown.

I don't wanna hear nonsense about 31 points blah blah blah. The Packers had 2 drives, Dallas' offense blew both of those games.
Lol. Brees wasn’t even playing.

Rodgers didn’t have to do anything because we were getting gashed by a 5th round running back. Rodgers was 22-34 without his top receiver and Dak was 27-44. Meanwhile, we were shut out the entire 1st half by the 6th worst defense in the league.

You’re whacked dude.

Bridgewater is every bit as good as Brees right now.

"Gashed" is generous, completion percentage is irrelevant. Yes, the offense was bad, that is the point.

It's like you forgot what your point even was.

I really don’t care what you believe and since you’re too lazy to look at my post history and find positives then I’ll do it but only if we make it interesting. Care to make a gentlemen's bet that I will quote you two positive things I said in the past 24 hours, hell make it 4?

Of course you won’t because when a bet is on the line then you’ll actually take the time to look instead of just spewing your fecal lies.

I’m with you, there. It’s funny how your opinion changes when they switch colors.

I never thought I could deal with T.O. being a Cowboy, but I got over it. I’m going thru the same thing right now with Russell Westbrook being a Houston Rocket.
The guy is a Dbag. Opinion not changing. But I hope he gets 20 sacks this year and will cheer that he does.

Kudos to Jerry and Co. for taking what was a liability in the off season and adding a Quinn and Bennett to turn it into a strength.
This is huge. Last year it was Cooper. The Jones clan really deserves big time credit for addressing team needs with impact players in season. Something that we haven't seen much of.

Wow, I got nothing more to say. It’s pointless arguing with personal like you. This is borderline ignore material.

Lol fine.

You said the defense has only been "legit" against bad teams. They were perfectly "legit" against two good ones.

I rarely criticized them for playing poorly. When most people were screaming for heads after the Saints and GB game I was overall optimistic and thought we played tough games that we could of won by cleaning up a few minor mistakes. That was also because they played against good teams.

They played ok last night but it’s what I would expect, even less than what expected, considering the competition. I was more impressed with the Saints loss than this win.
I'll verify this. I do remember you being more optimistic than many, if not most.

Charles Haley

Lucky for me, I wasn't old enough at the time to develop the disgust for Haley like I had for Bennett. When I think of Haley, I think 'Dallas Cowboys'. I'm hoping that when it's all said and done, I will think the same way towards Bennett. May take a Super Bowl victory, or two, to get there but he has a chance. :D

I absolutely could not stand Bennett. He always annoyed the poop out of me. Then he put the star on and now I'm a fan. He definitely added more fuel to the fire. He did make a few early mistakes, but once he settled in, he needed to be accounted for and that's something that the d-line desperately needed.
One thing is for sure. That dude cannplay

Good post. I agree 100%. I never liked the dude at all, but what can I say he's a Cowboy now, so I will root for him every Sunday.

He's the same as Joakim Noah. I never hated a college athlete more then Joakim Noah on Florida. Then my team drafts him and all my friends sent me messages laughing at me. Joakim Noah is one of my favorite Bulls players of all time.

LOL...now that's funny. If you were to ask me to name my most hated top 3 NBA players of all time, ugly dude would definitely be one of them. As a Celts fan, I was sick to my stomach this offseason as I kept reading 'rumors' of the Celts needing size and his name kept popping up. I would need some help from you, if he were to wear the green, as I have no idea how I could possibly root for the ugly dude. You're a better man than me my friend! lol

At one point, and for a long time, I fell into the Cowboys trap of getting my hopes up almost every year. I was never a homer and never “drank the Kool Aid” but after being let down for the past 20 years I try not to get my hopes up too much, especially over beating some of the worst steam in the league. That’s one of the easiest traps to fall into and you could see how many people fell for it after our first three wins followed by the next few losses.

Don’t keep my expectations too high and these losses won’t ruin my week. Beat a good team and I’ll begin to become very cautiously optimistic, beat a lousy team in a sloppy game and I’ll remain neutral to slightly disappointed.

Remember, I did drop $400 on this team in July to win the Super Bowl so although I don’t think it’s a lock, I obviously think there’s enough potential for them to compete and beat anyone.

I'm just a fan. I have a desire for them to do well each year and an expectation they will be competitive. I was around during the Cinderella season, and many others. I believe you either love the team no matter what, or you love the success only.

This may not make a lot of sense, but I have left this board more than once due to the disdain for the coaches, owner, etc. How about we all just enjoy the team and see what happens?
