Highlights from Podcast:

* Dak feet & accuracy were not good. Missing alot of throws on field. Not seeing safety on 1st throw of game is a concern. Thinks contract situation has to be effecting him because he is not playing clean games.

* Connor Williams is improving each week.

* WR edge blocking is big part of running game success.

* Strength of team is running game & OL.

* Dallas didn't miss beat when Health left game due to injury. Thompson played physical.

* Byron Jones lacks the ball skills necessary to make play on ball.

* DL was dominant.

So because he didn't see the safety on the interception, his accuracy was off all night? There was many dropped balls and just about every throw was where it needed to be. Maybe the throw aways to the sideline when he was under pressure is what he is alluding to. Maybe what he is saying is that there was wide open WRs when he threw to other open WRs.

Bethea made a good play. There are other throws that Dak should have completed but the interception was simply Bethea seeing the slant throw, stopping his rush and getting up into the path of the throw to make the interception. Most times that throw is whizzed pass the bltizer for a completion. Any team opening with a slant in that situation would have probably been picked because of how Bethea played it.

I will say Dak like most QBs need to set their feet.
I don’t believe he trust his OL to give him a clean pocket. Or he is anticipating pressure. Either way I saw a guy who was on his heels.

and still had an overall good game.

He did. Obviously, some of those deep throws he missed need to get cleaned up because we'll need him to hit them against better teams. However, we're talking about three or four throws out of 35.

CPOE (Completion Percentage Over Expected)
from NFL's "NextGen Stats"
1 Wilson +7.3
2 Prescott +7.2
3 Cousins +5.9
4 Stafford + 3.4
5 Watson +3.3

of top 32 QB in attempts

Dak is 7.2 percentage points above his expected completion percentage (based on receiver separation, QB pressure, and target depth on each attempt) this season.

There were 2 throws that Dak threw that hurt. And, they would've possibly been scores, in the first half. Dak missed Gallup and Cooper on long balls. That's about the only complaint I would have with Dak and his "accuracy". Every QB in the league will make that WTH throw that leads to an INT like the one Bethea got. Not concerned about that.

He is completing 69.6% of his passes for crying out loud.

can the idiocy stop already.

He is “very” concerned huh? Very concerned. Despite the fact that all the metrics say Dak throws accurate balls more often than most QB’s.

good grief.

Dak just needs to keep on balling and to hell with the talking heads. Dak is doing what he has to to move this team. He missed a throw do does everyone else, watch the other NFL games. I have seen this crap of all he does is dink and dunk, can't throw over 200 yards a game and on and one, he went out and did his job putting up 3 TD on the night avoiding sacks. Was he perfect? no

I give him a pass on the INt, that was a great read by the safety.

Some of those passes were bad yes. He had an bad-okay game IMO, but a lot of his passes were dropped once again. I can remember a Cobb one and Cooper one in specific that were dropped on big downs.

He overthrew and under threw a lot of passes last night, but he hasn't really had a bad game all season minus the Jets one (missing 2 OT's and 2 of his WR's, which really isn't an excuse to me, but I'll cut him some slack), and the Saints game was kind of poor. Also, I think those pain pills from having his wisdom teeth taken out messed him up in all honesty. He'll be fine. He has his games like any other QB. Dak is one of the least of my concerns on this team right now...

I missed his interception walking to my seats so I have no input on that one. He missed(overthrew) two wide open tds. You need to make those passes.

Dak was missing some last night. A number of talking heads have been commenting on it. Apparently Dak is back to being “just above average.”

He actually missed a lot IMO. I am getting ready to rewatch the game here in a little bit, still have some work to do but after that, gonna go home and rewatch the game. See if what I thought I saw was actually what I saw.
