they play the guys they like, and the ones jerry and son wants them to play.

I've spent years hating them for doing that. Hell I remember back in the 5-11 seasons where I was hoping they'd play some guys over the sorry bums that took the field every sunday.

And back then it wasnt much to choose from, but they had a few decent guys that they refused to give a shot.

Just as bad or more, Moore won'teven use Pollard at all in the offense, much less the passing game. Pathetic. That's on Moore.
Yeah, Pollard averaged 7 yards a carry with really limited touches. I'd like to see more of him just to save Zeke for late season run.

Bryant is the Noah Brown. Bigger, better blocker, can line up near the line or wide out.

Smith and Wilson don’t offer that.

Maybe Bryant is doing well in practice and they are rewarding him with limited snaps when Gallup/Coop need a breather?

The legend of Devin Smith here is reaching Rico Gathers Preseason hype.
Dude beats a slow Norman and people go buckwild thinking we have another Laurent Robinson.

not really, that is one of many things a coach can teach a player to never do.

The coach can tell players alot of things and it's crazy you think he hasn't been taught to complete the catch before turning upfield. He probably has been told this his entire football life but in the end it is on the player to actually do what he is taught.

,,, or maybe Moore isn't emptying out the playbook on these crap teams we've played thus far. I would imagine there are plays for Pollard being saved for later. As for the backup receivers, they're backups! This isn't pee wee football where everybody gets to play.

depends on how they are taught, and you have to remind them all the time.

They brought Bryant up from the practice squad when Goodwin was hurt because Bryant can play on special teams. They like his size. I don't think he contributes anything to the passing game though, at least he hasn't yet. I think Devin Smith is being underutilized.

The guy can't catch.

He gets plenty of opportunity considering the fact that he hasn't done anything.

He caught 104 balls at UK. You don't catch that many balls in college if you "can't catch".

Note, I am not suggesting he needs way more PT or whatever. They are using him fine but to say he can't catch is kind of silly.

He hasn't in the NFL.

Zay Jones caught 100 balls a year and he can't catch either. College production doesn't mean anything.
