I dont think this team wins the super bowl this year .

Its one thing to be "motivated" , but its another thing to be prepared with the tools needed to win in the post season .

This isn't even motivation, it's overconfidence and overstating. Keep this kind of talk in the locker room because when you lose, it comes back to bite. I know Dak can handle criticism, but still. He and this team are starting to sniff themselves and we all saw what happened last time this team starting sniffing themselves after a win streak ....

I think this is a pretty accurate comment by Dak. With the exception of the Saints game where they played very conservatively on offense, the offense has been productive and explosive and has only been stopped by things like penalties, turnovers and dropped passes. Obviously some of that will always happen, and the team has to find a way to get past it when it does, but it has happened too often.

Why say anything, we were supposed to beat the Giants, if anything talk after you beat a team like the Patriots.

The Jets beg to differ

The Saints do too. They shut down Dak for a little over 200 yards passing. No Td's and a pick. The defense did they job and Dakota and company were AWOL. Those of us that are Cowboys fans are in fact fans of Dak too because he wears the Star.......but the very fact that some of his over the top, hyperventilating sycophants actually see his statement as a positive thing explains the undeserved, premature Hero worship.

Perhaps a better example would be, say, the Noble Peace Prize being awarded to someone; not because they have accomplished anything , but rather that they have the potential to, just to fill an agenda...................I know that's probably a bad example because we all know that wouldn't happen, but y'all get my point

With the NFL rules of today, no offense can be stopped if it doesn't get in its own way.

A lot of overreaction.......he was simply speaking on the mistakes that keep hurting this team. Absolutely zero problems with what he's saying.

BTW.....he's also a spokesperson for teammates as a captain.

I agree, but the comment about them being essentially unstoppable is ridiculous and out of line. I am a Dak lover and I believe we should pay him, but talk like this is not a good look. It makes the team overstep their confidence and we all saw what happened last time they got overconfident. That was the only problem I had with his comment. Everything else is spot on.

This team feels like it has won something when it beats teams that will be picking in the top five of next year's draft.

We have to remember NFL players are told EVERY WEEK there are no bad NFL teams in the league. They can be beaten on any given Sunday. So not sure they see the top five or ten thing.......

He's right. If this team doesn't do stupid **** it steam rolls other teams. Fact. Our average victory margin this year is 20+
I'll take them however we can get them.

But to be honest, we have only one decent win so far this season (vs Eagles)

What do you mean to who? It's just out of line. It's crazy and ridiculous to even think that this team is unstoppable. I know all the players should be very high on the team (obviously. It's the team you play for) but his use of words was not very good. Say we get jacked by the Vikes. This comment will cause an uproar and many Dak haters and Cowboys haters will rise and poke fun like they always do. Just keep this unstoppable talk in the locker room.

I like the sound of Dak's swagger but it seems quite overstated. If we don't stop showing up flat, there are many teams that can and will beat us. Let's hope they're fully prepared to play the game of their lives against the Vikings. If not, they could easily discover they're too far behind to catch up! All the false bravado in the world can't replace all out effort from start to finish. Here's hoping this team is fully aware of that before it's too late. It'll be a dogfight.
Well said! You can bet the Vikings will be ready to play from start to finish. Mike Zimmer will be ready for any come-from-behind attempts by Garrett.

What made the 1992-95 Cowboys so good was not so much the great plays they made, it was their ability to do the routine things right every time. They rarely beat themselves. It's not a big secret, that's also what's carried the Patriots to their successful run. Until we get to that point, we'll continue to be all potential with teases of greatness but ultimate futility.

So true -- the Vikes will be prepared and it will take the Boys' best "A" game, minus the miscues, to earn a win. All the chest beating in the world won't save them if they don't go into the game prepared to play the game of their lives. Getting arrogant and overconfident will always be counter productive. Here's hoping these guys realize they can't afford to relax, nor make one mistake if they realistically expect to win vs. a winner. That's what it takes!
