Without a doubt. Sure, Thompson didn't embarrass himself. But that is it. The key was the DL doing their job. It made the fact he was in the game irrelevant because they could rush four and drop seven.

Our defense looked the best it has all season for the entire game and I think that was because of Sean Lee starting while LVE has been out. Sean was not missing his gap assignments like LVE has since the Rams playoffs game. We will need that type of consistent play against Dalvin Cook Sunday. Im hoping Sean gets the start.

Thompson was a complete non-factor. The only impact play he made was a play by DLaw.

He's fine. Heath is fine. it makes no difference which one is out there.

I've always been a fan of The GOAT, but Thompson has the lowest QBR when thrown on in the secondary, and Heath has the highest.

Thompson should at least be getting more snaps to see if the trend continues. Ride the hot hand until it ain't not no more.

Heath's play probably improves if they lighten his load. He plays full time defense and half special teams snaps.

More justified than usual. We got to see how we played without him. We played well. Thompson had no problems that I'm aware of.

Anyone got PFF scores for Thompson? Did he get any for that game?
