Not if he's doing it right. It's not what you do, it's what you get caught doing. Every OL and DL pushes the envelope and hopes they don't get caught. The coaches teach techniques to get the edge and not get caught.

With Hernandez it started when he thought his QB got a little rough treatment so he decided to hand out a little of his own for his rookie QB and send a message to his teammates. Did you see him smiling and the look on his face. He knew exactly what he was doing, he was trying to get some fire in his teammates. He was risking catching penalties but he knew they didn't have much chance anyway. I got loads of respect for any player on a bad team that refuses to go down without a fight.

I can tell you one player that would have loved to have Hernandez on his team when he was a rookie, Troy Aikman. His 5 matadors allowed them to beat the hell out of him, even body slam him and they did nothing.
But how effective is that? I don’t think Lawrence, Bennett, or Quinn rushed any less hard due to Hernandez’s actions.

That's Will Hernandez and he suckered the Cowboys into committing penalties and losing their cool. They have a terrible OL, he's the only decent player and he's the enforcer.

All of the complaining about him and every poster here would love to have that attitude here. His OL teammates were getting their butts handed to them because they're just not good and the Cowboys were doing what they're supposed to do, making them pay. He was one of the few Giants with any fight in him. And he fought until the last bell. Don't fault him for getting by with it and the Cowboys players playing right into it. The refs were calling it right.
Actually the guy is a turnstile in pass blocking. All the giants fans could talk about us his inability to pass protect. Guy is an average guard with a big mouth...

Do the players choose the charities and get a tax deduction?

Here are the details.

Randall Cobb $28,075 blindside block when the zebra had his eyes shut
DeMarcus Lawrence $21,054 unsportsmanlike conduct and unnecessary roughness and generally being a big bully and that's not allowed in Meow stadium!
Xavier Woods $10,527 taunting :D "I'm gonna kick your arse to the next century next play!" (scary stuff!)
Justin March $14,037 unnecessary roughness and being a big meanie and saying nasty words (Also scary stuff fine should've been triple!):rolleyes:
They throw flags on anything nowadays:laugh:

Geez is every penalty now a fine? None of those plays were excessive. Maybe March pulling the guy off the pile, but certainly not fine worthy. The NFL is like the State Troopers hiding behind a shade tree waiting to make that $$$, for "your own good."

Refs always get the one that hits back. But after about 4 times of the same one starting it after the whistle is blown you would think they would at least call it even or flag him for starting fight number 3. May have prevented fight number 4.

Although I enjoyed the festivities since we were winning.
Quinn really liked Hernandez’ helmet and wanted toy take it with him.

Did #71 with the Giants get fined?!

Goodell started making calls to the refs after we started to pull away.

"It's MNF and it's the Cowboys. Try and keep it a close game!"

Very true, coach. All we had to do was walk away. Stupidity on the behalf of some of our players. We have to be smarter.
