That's part of the problem this team has been having. Just line up and beat your man, regardless of the fact that they know exactly what we're gonna do. Unfortunately, that requires all our guys to be better than all their guys, and it often gives the defense the advantage of being in position before our offense can get there. When you know what the play design is, you know where and when to jump the routes, or which gaps to fill....Of course, I was referring to our offensive game plan, but the same premise applies to the defense. If they know we're scheming to stop the run, they plan more pass plays, etc.

There is a lot of room on how you do it, but make no mistake they know we are going to try and take Cook out of the game and force the QB to make plays. Don't even have to be a coach to know this.
