I don’t know how you can be cocky when you run game was getting its butt kicked all damn game. I’d understand if they had 150 yards on the ground or something, but when your RB is averaging 2 ypc and Dak is throwing the ball great, you don’t run the damn ball.

Exactly! You know when they called those plays they thought they were outhinking minny.

On third down that should have been a pass. I was stunned when they handed the ball to Zeke. We were killing them in the pass game. It was OBVIOUS they only wanted to concentrate on the run. I got excited when Tavon Austin caught the ball in the punt return only to see him standing there because he had already called a fair catch. He had a good 15-20 yards of space between him and the defenders and he had blockers. Why did he call that fair catch? We needed a play with 24 seconds left He could have ran for at least 10 yards and that's if he went down on the first man. I am baffled that he called that fair catch.

Moore/Garrett got to cute/cocky with that third down run. It was piss poor playcalling.

BS...It was poor execution. And it all starts w/ the same moron that has cost us all season....Conner Williams. :banghead:

It was his piss poor block that didn't allow Frederick to get over on the reach block. It should have been a double team...instead Conner whiffs...and then goes to the 2nd level. You can tell by Fredericks reaction he is pissed because he is being thrown under the bus for the play failing.

12:32 mark...

the call makes some sense, you are trying to get a first and goal so you can run the clock down a bit or force them to use their timeouts as you try to score

the blame goes to everyone, the coaches, the linemen, Zeke, even Dak. We couldn't block them and if Dak keeps it on 3rd down it's an easy 1st. As usual, it's an organizational failure, losers lose.

Brad Sham on post game show (per usual) is throwing Dak under the bus on the 3rd down play to protect the coaching staff. Blamed Dakota for not throwing on the RPO call. Garrett has his shrills to protect his crappy coaching

I can be honest. I called a run on second and I called a run on third because I thought we’d surprise them. I don’t wait to see the result and then criticize any play that doesn’t work.

I understand your thought process on being unpredictable but when you are absolutely shredding a defense either run or pass.. Keep doing it

Remember Dak's failure to audible out of a bad Kellen Moore 2pt conversion attempt, and now this? Something don't smell right?

The two run calls were dumb for two reasons. First, the Vikings were clearly playing to stop the run all night. They were giving up pass coverage to stop the run. That's why Dak had so much success throwing the football. Then, they marched 85 yards throwing the football to get to the 10. Dak was on a roll. I get the 2nd down run and while I would not have called it at that point, it wasn't completely ridiculous. But the call to Zeke on 3rd down and to the outside to me was just the dumbest call ever. Did you see the look on Zeke's face? He looked totally perplexed on that play. He sat down and looked like he was saying, I can't do that anymore. Just throw the ball twice there to get the first down. Then take 4 more downs to get it in the end zone. In the beginning of the year the Cowboys looked like they had some new plays and looks down in the red zone but since the 3 game winning streak, I haven't seen them.

The Cowboys should have had a lot more success running in the middle since the Viking were missing their starting DT but the Vikings backup DT was beating Connor Williams most of the night. And, the Vikings were keeping a safety close to the line all night to help stop the run.

Some people are saying Dak should have run more they were not giving him any running lanes. They were very disciplined in their pass rush ensuring they didn't allow Dak to run away outside. But Dak had a pocket and he had receivers getting open.

Score the TD there and the Vikings would have gone 1 dimensional with so little time left. The cowboys pass rush might have made a play or two to stop them or they could have forced a turnover. Who knows, but tie the game first, then worry about the clock. Running there to keep the clock moving was getting ahead of the game.

Really? Wow.

That is disappointing to hear.

But then again, not surprising either.
