Go back and watch the play...and see how wide open Cooper was across the middle. So your saying Dak missed a wide open Cooper? You don't pay a QB elite money if he's gonna miss those type of reads.

Actually that was Cobb in the slot just to clarify....

Jerry doesn’t give a flying f about what we think, win or lose. He’s still going to bed in his million dollar mansion, making money while he sleeps. It’s a business to him and that’s it, and it’s a really good one at that.

I said it was his fault and he went to Zeke who was obviously his checkdown way too early. I didn’t know if there was anybody else in his progressions he simply ignored, which maybe the Cooper route your referring to.

Actually it was Cobb in the slot...my bad...anyway...go back and watch that...Witten was doubled...Cobb slips behind...oh man was he open.

Has anyone that's watched football for a long time ever seen a team tell their punt returner to fair catch a ball when there's 27 seconds on the clock & the punting team is in max protect and he has a mile & a half of wide open space to run?

to be fair there was only 17 seconds....So Tavon catches it and makes a return from his 45.... to say he makes it to the Vikings 30...you got maybe 5 seconds left....now what? Your down to your last chance. By fair catching...you got 4 plays out of that...which 2 or 3 should have been shots to the endzone.

Looking at our schedule...………...looking at Philly's schedule (Giants x 2, Commanders, Miami, LOL).

This loss pretty much cost us the division and playoffs.....…no way in hell we finish with a better record than Philly and their cupcake schedule.

So where do we go from here? We lost to NO, GB and now the Vikings, all teams with winning records. Frankly, our defense is disappointing in a big way. The Vikings had no problems moving the ball most of the game, especially when they needed to. On the other hand they stopped our running game completely. Our longest run was 7 yards and that came on a Tavon Austin end around. Zeke's longest run was 6 yards. Who decided to run into that defense twice with the game on the line?

If I'm Dak, I'm doing anything I want to from here on out.

You have a feckless HC and staff that continually make repeated poor decisions to team detriment.

It is ONLY elite talent that keeps the team competitive. Miracle grabs and individual excellence by Dak is continually undermined by stupidity.

The fact we didn't move on Jamal Adams is a sign of onset systemic arrogance. Here was an opportunity to add elite talent, and you passed.... why?

Noone gets coached up here. Credit Dak for improving on his own. Most players here get instantly worse the moment they walk through the door.

If he'd tried to run to the end zone. But he had room to get probably 15 or 20 yards before running out of bounds, which is more than they got on the 2 plays after that, and it would've taken less time. Of course, whatever coach told him to fair catch it probably didn't realize he'd have so much room to run.

The Tavon Austin fair catch just shows how bad Garrett is. You should coach your players for situations like that, where you tell them to use your judgement as a returner. If it looks like the Vikings have their kick coverage going downfield then you fair catch it to save time. If it looks like the Vikings are going in max protect to make sure that the punt doesn't get blocked, then there will be space to run.

By taking the fair catch, it pretty much just ensured that there will only be a chance for a hail mary around the 50. The Cowboys only had time to dink and dunk to make it a more manageable hail mary. If Tavon had taken that punt back to the Vikings' 35, at least with 10 seconds left, you have time for 2 realistic shots into the endzone and a higher chance of drawing a PI

Tavon runs a 4.3 or 4.4 forty yard dash... It wouldn't take him 12 seconds to cover 25 yards. It's a lot easier to score from 30 yards out than it is 55 yards out + he could've possibly taken that punt to the house & with that short amount of time - that's your best option.

If we both go 5-2 and we beat them week 16, we win the division.

When you have the highest paid offensive line in the league (and the highest paid RB)...and it's 2nd and 2. You better be able to get 2 yards for the 1st down.
