Agreed but not sure I trust him at this point. I've said it elsewhere but he's either incapable of making a difference or handcuffed by Rod' scheme. He's responsible for the DB's and they refuse to make a play on the ball. The one player capable of making plays, Jourdan Lewis, was in the doghouse and only got to play after injuries.His DBs here don't play like the ones in Seattle did. I'm not talking about skill level, I'm taking style.
That's why I suggested bringing in Schiano. His units at Rutgers, Tampa Bay, and Ohio State were known for their defensive toughness and was supposed to be the Patriots DC this season (but he changed his mind). He is not without flaws but there's not exactly a bunch of quality defensive minds unemployed at this time of the year.
