A wise man said
“Jason Garrett can be my coach any day of the week,” he said. “Except Sunday.”

Or Monday, depending on the schedule.”

He does not have “it” , a coaching presence and the ability to affect the outcome during games . Seems like a man standing on an island , praying his players and assistants perform well for him to win .

Saw at least twice when he does that bizarre punching a player when they make a good play, the players just being like “ ***, don’t touch me, moron!”

Amari was one. I think it was a defensive player the other.

It’s kind of like. “No ****, I made a good play. No thanks to you!”

The quote is from the article from DallasNew.com this morning. You should quote sources if they are not your quotes.

I noticed it for sure with Amari. Did not like it at all.

When we were driving for the win, I honestly thought “has a coach ever been fired after a win?” That’s how bad I thought this game was coached.
we could’ve fired him after the philly game and it would’ve sat well with me

You can only blame Jerry. If i see an underwhelming supervisor under me, i try to coach him or coach him out. Jason is in the top 5 tenured coaches in the NFL. Let's talk the others.. Belicik, Tomlin, Payton, Carroll. What do these guys have the Garett doesn't? Not only Superbowl wins, but playoff wins as well. What manager would keep a supervisor this long when other supervisors in the company are doing that much better. The tools are only as good as the hands using them.

I posted this in the other thread.

The fair catch might be the stupidest of all his clock management gaffes. And that’s saying a lot.

Catching it and running it for whatever distance and time is the same as a reception except you don’t have to get out of bounds and call timeout.

That’s ignoring the real possibility he could’ve gained some real yards. Without losing the time of the dropback, pass, catch, run, and getting out or a t.o.

This is a mistake I’ve never seen by any coach and I will never again.

I think there was a lot of bone headedness in the game. I was proud of Dak and Cooper.. my gawd those back to back toe taps
