This is such BS. Fans get pissed in every sport it's called passion, if you can watch this disaster and not get pissed what's wrong with you?

How old are you? Some of us have been watching this garbage for 25 years straight. Been there done that far too many times to count. THAT is how you watch this and not get pissed

What exactly do you suggest we do? What’s your end game here? Do you want a Sean McVay? Remember him? He’s supposed to be the boy genius that can out coach anyone. Look at his record, look at who he lost to yesterday. Would Cowboys fans be happy with that.

What about Andy Reid? I always hear his name come up. He’s soooooo smart and a great coach yet he does nothing but choke. Still want him? Sean Payton looked magical yesterday, didn’t he? He got slaughtered by the one win Falcons at home, I’m sure that would have gone over really well if he were the Cowboys HC.

Oh wait, Lincoln Riley, right? He’s our savior. He has zero NFL experience, just got worked by K State, yet he’s the one that will fix all of our problems  Some of you need to get a grip. There’s still plenty of games left and contrary to what some of you think, our remaining games look easier by the week. Put on your big boy panties and drive on.

Greg Roman might be an option. He's done well with Lamar Jackson, and he did well as the OC in SFO. I'd like to see what he can do with Dak.

We cannot go back to business as usual.

We fans have got to threaten to withhold our support.

Boycott this team. Do not purchase anything!

Do not participate until Garret is gone.

When I am now actively rooting for Dak to move on because I care about him. This is beyond over.

This has to be different than just complaining. We need to use our power.

Suck it up, buttercup.

Dak needs to go.

We get rid of him and Garrett and we instantly get better. He's a glorified bus driver.

#DontpayDak

I don't understand how anyone still has this Dak narrative. He played extremely well last night and pretty much every week. Or would you prefer to trade for Goff in the off season? I bet the Rams would take that deal in a second.

I read somewhere that the Cowboys were going to win 7 out of the last 8 games. We got the loss out of the way so we’re going to win the last 7. The internet never lies so Hang in there and Go Cowboys! ;)

This so-called tough schedule we have ahead doesn't look as threatening right now. I thought we would finish 7-9, but I think we could actually finish 9-7.

Chicago looks inept on offense.
Detroit looked terrible yesterday on offense and Stafford is doubtful for next week.
Rams look pedestrian as well, and Goff with a liitle pressue reminds me of Gary Hogeboom.
Buffalo isn't great.
Washington is well, Washington.
And we can beat Philly.
NE is the only game that looks like a really, really tough task, but those are the games we tend to win.

Yeah you will. Cowboys first playoff game this year and you’ll be glued to the tv, same with Thanksgiving. A lot of talk on these forums.
I haven't watched a game in two years meaning I did not watch the playoffs last year. I will NOT be watching the playoffs this year either unless Jerry gives Garrett a mid season goodbye. What is the point of watching when you already know the team has no chance of advancing due to an albatross unqualified coach?

I feel for your passion. Maybe I’m older than you but this is just entertainment. You can’t get emotional over something that you have no control over. They don’t even know you exist. I refuse to let the lows be lower than the highs are high.

31 out of 32 fan bases will be upset at the end of the season.

you should save your emotions for things you can effect the outcome of.

I know it’s hard sometimes.

we have no power...less than zero. This is a billionaires toy. We just get to watch it.

It isn't BS. It's almost 50 years of watching football is what it is.

Wait...are you serious? You haven’t watched a game in 2 years but you are so infatuated with the cowboys that you come here?
That makes me feel sad for you.

It’s probably best you avoid sports you have no control over.
Maybe find a healthy hobby that will enhance your life.

Any successful boycott seeking a change will require careful, logistical, large-scale and sustainable organization of people through various methods of connectivity such as:

  • Multi-platform social media networking
  • Onsite demonstrations (both inside and outside the stadium, The Star, etc.)
  • Continuous targeting of Fortune 500 advertisers
  • Addressing media entities (e.g. television, radio, newspaper, etc) nonstop with vocal coordinated discontent
along with
  • Significant cessation of purchasing Cowboys-related apparel, game day tickets, etc.
Rants on a fansite ain't gonna cut it.

It has been proven rants on a fansite ain't gonna cut it.

Stop ranting on a fansite.

Take actual, no <expletive> initiative.

Make a strategic, thought out plan that will attract a multitude of likeminded individuals, who work together towards motivating an extremely wealthy narcissist, who owns diverse profitable revenue streams outside of simple apparel and gate sells, into a real life, different mindset of decision making.

OR

Continue to rant on a fansite. Mitigate personal stress through venting. And change nothing. Like every single rant that has been posted on this fansite and every other fansite over the last few decades. Bar none. Period.

And that is my rant of the day.

It's just a game. When you have no control over something, you shouldn't stress yourself out over it.

This.

I live in the other side of the world, I directly pay the NFL several hundred dollars a year just so I can watch the games.

It’s like clockwork though, every year I get excited for game 1, the offseason goes well, there is a lot of promise. So I pay my money and watch in hope and optimism.

After that, almost every year, by mid-season I feel the same way — what a waste of money! The Cowboys suck! But, screw it. It’s just a game. More than that, I love it and there are loads of other things to waste money on, so why not keep wasting it on the Cowboys?

That said, one of my best friends here in Australia is a Pats fan, he also pays the money to watch the games. I feel he gets better value...

You’re right. As sad as it is, we just need to stay tied or one game behind Philly. Win in Philly and they likely win this East.

I much rather make the playoffs and see what happens as opposed to finish 8-8 and be left out

"I stopped caring right after the truth came out concerning the real reason why Jerry hired Bill Parcels. I still watch the games, but the results, win or lose, don't bother me at all."

"Fans get pissed in every sport it's called passion, if you can watch this disaster and not get pissed what's wrong with you?"

Actually I'm in the middle of those two viewpoints, after watching the last 20 years roll by. Did it bother me the Cowboys lost? Yeah but I still just heaved a sigh and went to bed, went right to sleep. This morning it's the usual aggravation at a blown game. But we ALL know as long as JJ runs the team, and probably after Stephen takes over, it will be more of the same. Can't get my hopes up for another title too much, though I will admit I do some. When they lose it's just something you expect, when they win it's a good feeling.

But not an intense feeling either way. Problem, if it's a problem, is that the Cowboys have been my team for over 50 years, when the Texans started up I watched them for a while, just to see if I could "get into" another team, but the interest wasn't there, doubt it would be for any other team.

So there's no point, at least at this time, to get really angry at a loss, or really happy at a win, not good for me physically or emotionally. IF they win another title, that may change, but until that time, I just can't get too high or too low, even if I wanted to...
