In big games against good teams (and this was a big game imo) we get down early (sometimes by multiple scores). Fight to get back in. And make bone headed decisions in the 4th to lose the game.

It's been that way for a long time.

It's the coaching staff and the culture.
I’d agree with the culture which begins at the top . Garrett and the coaching staff is a product of it.

We had lost 15 straight games after falling behind 7 or more points until Monday night at NY. But this trend continues .

We simply are a team built to run the ball and get off to fast starts. We obviously struggle overcoming if we don’t score early. Even though we continue to fight staying in the game.

So, not only is stopping our running game a recipe for success but putting us in an early scoring hole.
I agree to some extent here, but Vikings have one of the best Run DT duo's i've watched... last night they clogged the middle so no inside runs were happening, there LBs were shooting gaps causing Zeke to dance in Back field. when we made adjustments in the 2nd half, we tried to go wide Running and that did not work cause our middle of the line was not as strong as the vikings and they shot the gap or held up the offensive line men enough to let LBs roam sideline to sideline. we should have kept slinging it down the field and just abandoned the run game last night. it was not working our guys were tired or something not sure but it just needed to change.

Is it possible our OL is over rated?

But I thought Moore was the Savior? I guess Garrett is sabotaging . Lol

You’d think with this All World OL and best RB we could force our will?

Why is it the better teams can stifle our running game?

because we are predictable
This HC is garbage and your OC is learning on the job

I wish I could go back and here it all again.

i heard him say it too. In one aspect he is 100% right this is a team of front runners. They can play with a lead and protect it as well as anyone on the other hand they never come back to win.

The down 7 thing young referred to is just not right though, they were down 7 to the giants at the end of last year and the start of this year in september and won. I don't know who gave him those numbers but they were off.

his whole point makes sense though, they never come back to win. They always get close and lose.

I did a little research last night & saw that the 'Boys have scored first in only 3 of this years games.

Also, 5 of the 6 times the opposition scored first, it was a touchdown. Two of the 3 times Dallas scored first it was only a field goal.

No i think your seeing some degradation in strength from Fredrick due to the Auto immune disease, i know someone that has this and once you have it under control your strength never comes back to 100% you have days were your 80 - 90 % and days were you are 70 - 80 % not to mention he's doing this over and over again over the 20 games schedule in the year. Then you have Martin, i do think he's got something going on with his knee or back but he's just off this year. and Conner is not a Guard in my opinion, he's a Tackle not strong enough in the trunk and lower body to be a guard, he would have been great in a Shanahan Zone running scheme but he's not in that, he's in our hybrid offense... get him moving on a zone read or pulling to second level and its a thing of beauty, but not able to just move straight a head with power and consistency.

That’s sounding like our OL is over hyped to me.

The better teams go all out to stop our running game hence the passing game doing what it did.

The "trend" is Jerry and Garrett are content with losing.........just continue to speak the same bs to the fans and go through the motions each week like they cared.

Potato/Patato, apples and oranges my friend, they are having a down mid season, they have had great games other times, they are just not being consistent.
If we are so heavily invested ( about a third of our Cap) on OL and RB which isn’t dominating as strength then we are reduced to a shell of a team.

Like i said i agree to some extent, its up to coaching to motivate a team to get every ounce out of them... our coaching staff in my opinion is not doing that from game to game. they seem to get up for Division games and not for friends of the coach.
