We all have for almost a quarter of a century and the same guys are still running the show.

You're always free to stop watching or change to a different team. Complaining about something you have absolutely no control over is just a waste of time and energy. If the team brings you so much disappointment or despair, as it apparently does to some, then quit following it. I can assure you, Jerry and JG won't notice.

You could've made this post a decade ago, and you'll probably be doing it a decade from now.

The Cowboys organization is dysfunctional and will remain so for the foreseeable future. As long as that's the case "we'll get 'em next year!" will remain the battle cry.
Amen!!

Until Garrett is gone I see zero hope in a playoff run. ZERO. none at all. The negativity from me will stop the day he's gone. I don't even care who is hired to replace him. At least hope will be restored for the immediate future on that day.

I counted one thread topic on the front page that was positive. We had a close loss to a good team, the world isn’t over. All of these threads about the division being lost, the team sucks, etc are such an over reaction and it’s depressing. We have a few lay ups left (Washington, Bears, Detroit, even the Rams suck now) but we lose a couple close hard fought games and everyone throws a temper tantrum.

This is football, we’ll win some and lose some. Luckily our division sucks and we’re never out of it. The coaches some of you blow all lost games this weekend and actually haven’t looked too great this year.

Saints lost to a one win team, Rams are looking bad, Andy Reid and the Chiefs have predictably choked once again, the Colts lost to Miami...the season is far from over but glancing at these threads you would think we just lost the division and a wild card spot.

So what? We lost to a good team and several plays could have changed the outcome. Stop the whining, there’s still plenty of time left. I just hope the players aren’t as mentally weak as some of you because if thats the case then yeah, we should hang it up.

10 years of this ... is what got us where we are right now under garrett ...

"Stop whining, we are gonna lose" <-- Never read a more depressing statement .

Ok, Nurse Ratchet, but don't you think it would be better to sedate the coaching staff, and not the fans on a board who help finance that jolly blue giant of a boat?

I think we've earned the right to whine. I think, but please sedate me if I'm wrong, that watching this abomination of a game last night, although, frankly, I could count at least six previous games that were actually games of ineptitude, or stumbling to wins, or being outcoached by 1-7 teams, etc...is a sign that this team has some serious issues which cannot be ignored.

I
blame it on two things: dysfunctional ownership and coaching. This team should not be 5-4 with the talent they have, and no matter how many verbal rainbows of optimism you blow out your mouth, this team should/could be 3-6 if not for second half comebacks. So, yes, fans on a board are going to note these signs, and want to put forth an opinion, and that's fine by me.

And anyway, I like following signs. Especially when I'm driving. They are very helpful.

Saints won a Super Bowl. Rams won a Super Bowl. What the truck has Garrett won? No cryin here! Just the facts! If the facts can't get in the way? Why are we even here?
Again, if JG wins a Super Bowl this year does that give him a free pass for another 5-10 years? The golden child Sean Payton has won ONE Super Bowl, does that mean you would be happy if he under performed or didn’t win big games for years after?

What if Payton didn’t win a SB, would that make him a bad coach?

Spoken like a guy really doesn’t care that this organization has been in the bottom 7 organizations in the NFL for the last 25 years. Jason Garrett teams are as pathetic as the fans who have no problem with hem being habitual losers. Which is exactly what his teams are!!!
Far off. Have I said we should keep Garrett?

No, this team will limp off the field after being smoked out for the bums they are, along with this house of clown coaches leading them. Philly finds ways to BEAT the teams we so gallantly lose to. OK, yea we smoked them 1st game, my bet it won't strike twice come our next meeting with them. IMO, folks are mostly pissed not so much about the loss, as the WAY this haggled led bunch of "players" go about getting punched off their high horse's. I only watched the last 2 minutes last night, I already KNEW clapper and his band of misfit zombie coaches would find a way to get blown out by the vikes. Didn't take a rocket scientist to smell that fire a week ago. And lastly, I'm pretty sure we are ALL sick and tired of that grinning Idiot Garrett...10 seasons to long listening to a fool come out with the same old tired lines, and never shouldering the damn fault for a loss. I give the Giants HC a helluve a lot more respect, HE at least said it, These loss's are on ME, not we didn't execute, or watch film, clean it up, or any 100 other of Garrets lame assed malarkey he spews.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t move on from JG but a lot of these losses are on the players, not the coaching. Where were the threads tearing apart Zeke for fumbling against New Orleans during a critical point in the game? Was Garrett supposed to carry the ball into the end zone himself? Do you think Garrett’s half time speech would have prevented Zeke or Witten from fumbling?

Again, Garrett has had his chances but to blame all these losses on him is ridiculous.

You're wasting your time. The same people whining and claiming the season is already over, are the same people who were ready to throw themselves off a ledge when the Boys were 3-5 last year. It's like trying to talk football to Pop Warner kids. Every game the Eagles have left is a gimme win, and every game the Boys have left is a sure fire loss. Might as well sit the starters and let the second stringers play so we can see who we are going to rebuild around next year... after we cut all of our suckish starters this off-season.
:lmao2:Couldn’t be more true.

So we should be glad we're the least awful team in a weak division?

Not something to be happy about...
No, but we should realize we were a few plays away from beating very good teams and a few plays could have changed the outcome of any of those games. We also still control our own destiny in the NFCE.

Layups????? Lololol. They got beat by the jets and have only beaten Miami outside the division
Yeah, we should have beat the Jets with or without the injuries but we were missing several key starters.

Man I’m tired of this BS losing no. I was at the game last night talking **** about Garrett and the crowd around me was like *** are you talking about. This BS needs to stop. Fire that POS coach.
That’s fine, I’d be ok with that but I’m also sick of seeing some of these alleged “great” players we have get free passes. A lot of people over estimate the talent, or lack thereof, on this team and anytime we get beat due to players mistakes then the play calling and coaches get the blame.

It's 9 freaking years. The players have been churned. Some of the assistants have been churned. At what point do we stop trying to blame the talent or lack thereof and focus on the constants here? Namely, the HC and Marinelli, for example?
