Jerry Jones said "I hope it's not terminal" when asked about the effect of Sunday's disappointment.
Obviously the Cowboys morale is really low. If Jason Garrett senses the end coming, the wheels could come off at any time.
I think Garrett sees the 'handwriting on the wall'.

A loss to Detroit will likely be the end of Garrett.
Best thing that could happen if you have any desire of seeing this team win a SB with this squad while it's still together.

You remember all those 8-8 seasons when this clown was our head coach in a winner take all game! Well this season is shaping up that way, the last game of the season is against the hated Eagles..I don't expect this clown coaching our team to get this team ready to play in such hostile environment with the stakes really high..He sucks and he chokes.

THIS has been ugly for a long time. You can only put lipstick on a pig for so long. Some of us stopped drinking the koolaid a LONG time ago. The sooner our fan base stops buying the merchandise and filling up the idiots world, the tide may turn. Hell...if you have to buy a ticket, put a damn bag over your head with Jerry sux written on it.

People have been writing the epitaph of RedClapper for years. So far they still have a winning record and a better than even chance to win the NFCE.

It that happens, 3 more years minimum.

Jerry is very comfortable with his puppet. It's going to take an earthquake of some kind to get him to start thinking about a change.

I've seen this before. Expect a big win Sunday and another week of everything is fine.

You're so off base here man... The fans don't believe in Garrett it's unanimous man. When we complain less it's because of that exhilarating feeling that comes with a win, but make no mistake about it, no one is happy with the coaching.

Garrett isn’t going anywhere until after the season, and that’ll be based upon the entire season’s results. The Lions’ game only matters in that it’s one more win or loss toward the total.

If they miss the playoffs this year then Garrett is gone. Period. End of story. And if they lose to the Lions, they could still win the division.

It is ugly bro.

We have lost 4 times with a better football team than the teams we lost to.

We lost 4 football games when:

The Saints were without Brees
Green Bay was without Adam's
The Jets were without a chance in hell to win
The Vikings were without Thielen

In other words, this team is capable of losing any time, any place, in any venue.

This team is a flippin mess, with only Dak and Cooper playing the required level of football consistently necessary to win games against quality teams.

This coaching staff should absolutely be ashamed of itself and especially Marinelli and Richard. As for Garrett, it is a complete waste of time to comment on what a bust he is.

What's it going to be then, eh?

“I hope it’s not terminal” is a subtle warning to Garrett. His demise WILL be terminal if he doesn’t get his act together.
You all are really reading into this too hard.

"Terminal" means the season, not Garrett. His dog-like devotion to him won't die off due to one loss.

All (bad) things are possible with a Garrett-coached team.

He holds all of the ineptitude records. No teams has ever lost with +5 TO ratio except him, only 7 teams have lost home games with leads of 15 plus, 3 of them are Garrett-coached teams. There's a few more weird stats as well.

It was nice theory, it didn't work, Jerry held onto the theory way too long to validate his bold claims of future greatness, but now there's no excuse. Move on. Get the big-named coach and let him work.

Rest assured next game we will come out and play really well and win.
Go to Vegas, book it for us to win and cover the spread.
Every time JGs seat gets hot after an embarrassment, we come out and play.
But it takes that to get the staff to do their jobs for some reason.

Stephen is seething. He's far more in touch with reality than Jerry. He knows Garrett has to go.

It's still not too soon to simply state...let the season play out. Dallas is still atop the NFC East. That ensures a playoff home game.

The team lost to a solid team, by a total of four points. It still has a winning season and plays the mighty mighty Lions next.

Go root for a different team. Thats a Bears attitude
So rather than ripping the band aid off quick you'd rather endure another 5 years if mediocrity? Cause if he doesn't get fired, he's getting an extension. Sometimes you gotta suck in order to get better.
