Rod’s whole “we just want to get upfield” scheme has been abused for the better part of a year and yet no indication of any desire to fix it

Unbelievable that team after team brags post game that they knew exactly what we were going to run and this coaching staff just doesn’t care.
Unbelievable and embarrassing.
I mean, how many times are we going to have to hear this after a game before we do something?

It was obvious 10 years ago..

For some reason 10 years later the problem we're still doing this dance on Sundays.

Jason Garretts biggest fault is his stubbornness. To Jason his resistance to change is his rock., his mantra, just keep doing it the same way everyday, focus on the process not the results. The problem is that's not how it works, Saban doesn't do that Jason...he made adjustments until he found a winning formula THEN you do it the same way everyday focusing on process..make sense Princeton boy? Tell Jerry too so he can change too and start by firing your ...

I think big part of it is his upbringing. I saw an interview of him where he said his father had a big influence on him. Especially how he was so consistent in everything he did. He talked about how his father would run the same trail everyday . In rain, snow, any weather until he past away.

Being consistent is amiable trait but it doesn't apply to all things in life. Especially if you are consistently doing something that is not beneficial. That type of thinking is how organizations die out these days. You need to keep evolving and reinvent yourself or you'll be left behind. Look at all the retailers that are out of business now due to Amazon.

I think Bucky Brooks got it right on the Herd today.

It has to be about PLAYERS over PLAYS. Something that has been absent JG's entire tenure with this team. They just don't seem to understand how to put players in the best position to succeed when things don't go as planned.

How do they not run any swing passes, draws or screens with Zeke last week?

And at the end of the game, the 3 players that put you in a position to win the game were not involved on any of the final 3 plays, Dak, Amari and Cobb.

if it works, Garrett refuses to use it.

Run run pass, that either wins or loses, no turning from it.

Same thing can be said about Jerry. Everyone knew Garrett was the problem 2 years ago but rather than admitting his mistake Jerry kept him around. Why? Because hes stubborn and was determined to prove everyone was wrong about Garrett and he was right. They are going to force feed you what they think works wither you like it or not.

I mean, how many times are we going to have to hear this after a game before we do something?

I can just hear the other owners at the owners meetings. "Jerry, you're doing a great job and you're underappreciated. Keep it up". He's the fricken joke of the league and absolutely refuses to change...
