People gonna say that about certain players. Always. Nothing to do with the player. Everything to do with y'all's biases.

Also, The Doors suck. Listen to something from the last half century or so. Music moved on.
The Doors are one of the All Time best rock bands...ever. Thanks for sharing your lame thought process.

Jaylon is a very athletic linebacker, in the old school mode. Unfortunately, this team is convinced he's some rangh, sideline to sideline guy, when he's a purely nor south burst guy. I also think he's gotten too heavy for his own good.

I sincerely believe the team should be giving him reps at weak side DE in pass rushing downs and/or a LEO position.

Then again, this team has aong, stories history of forcing square pegs into round holes, so I'm sure nothing will change.

The Lb are just terrible this year, think the Rams exposed them big time

The one thing about the defense that had most of us encouraged entering the season was our linebackers and they have been disappointing. Last year’s great season by our young LBs raised our expectations a little too high. Both LVE and Jaylon are having trouble getting off blocks. They’ve been over running plays and missing tackles. What we saw against the Rams in the playoffs has carried over to this season. I think LVE has regressed even more than Jaylon.

It’s the lack of big plays from LBs I noticing...not getting behind the line much. Slow off the punch...LVE and Smith are not healthy at all. Somethings wrong....speed is missing, and their leg stability. No sideline run downs like last year. Lee is really their most stable LB right now...ironic as that is.

They need to play Luke Gifford at middle LB, and place Jaylon and LVE on the outside LB positions. Problem solved. Gifford is a big boy with a big body who can better take on Olinemen inside.

one more reason to get rid of Garrett. Stuff like this is just one more thing holding us back. I like Jaylon, but they need to use him differently or move him into a different position until/if he can ever be the guy they want him to be. Lee is the only starting LB on this team that looks to have actual instincts in coverage or hitting the gap in run defense. I think Smith has the ability, he just always plays cautious and light on his feet. Rarely will you see his leg planted when he's making a hit or about to make contact. He either needs to take up coaching or realize he needs to go all out and not worry about re-injuring his leg.

And yet so many insisted to me he was back 100% from that injury.

Just a really dumb extension. They did it for the feel good story. Pathetic.
And then had the NERVE to insinuate he was giving us a hometown discount! Comical!
This organization insults our intelligence so much...when as a fanbase are we going to say "enough is enough"!!
We have access to the All-22. The rest of the NFL has access to the All-22. The media has access to the All-22. We can all see this guy is more of a "story" than an actual solid down in and down out SOLID football player
I am watching him overrun, get stuck on blocks, make bad reads, make slow reads, take bad angles, whiff on open field tackles, get dragged 2 - 3 more yards once he makes contact.....the list goes on and on. I'm seeing all of this...and yet there are people on this board that try to convince me my eyes are deceiving me. It's almost as if these posters are employed by Jerry Jones!
I don't expect perfection. A solid LBer with some splash plays would be serviceable. I said earlier this year he is not even STARTING material...and people lost their mind. He is not HALF the player Sean Lee was in his prime!
