The Rumor was brought up by Jesse Holley. He says that Dak doesn’t want to sign his new contract because he doesn’t want to play with Garrett anymore. That the contract is a done deal but, Says that Dak doesn’t want to waste his career away like Romo did. I know it’s been Daks dream to play for Dallas but next season I can’t blame him for looking to move on.

Even if true he might not have a choice. It's called the franchise tag. He could sit out but he isn't playing for another team no matter who the coach is.

Don’t be so sure, you saw what happened with Bell and Brown. Dak can refuse to sign it or sit out, even demand a trade. He would have all the leverage.

We're getting a little crazy here. Nothing in Dak's behavior or personality has shown that he would do something like this. It's one thing for a RB to pull that crap but it's entirely another for the leader of the offense and arguably the team to do it. I just don't see it. Dak's a good soldier.

I’m not buying that rumor. Can’t imagine he would be passing up 30+ million per season because he doesn’t want to play for a coach who gave him the opportunity to start and kept him in there when Romo was healthy enough to play 4 years ago. He has developed into one of the best QBs in the league under Garrett and is having his best season. Not saying I want Garrett back by any stretch but I’m just not buying that rumor. It certainly wasn’t started by Dak he’s not that kind of guy. Dak has prospered under Garrett and he’s been too supportive of Dak for him not to want to play for him.

According to my son there are rumors Brady might come play for us. That would be a big reason Dak doesnt sign. I asked my son why would Brady wanna come to a losing environment?

Dak has said he wants to be the best player ever. He’s smart enough to know he’s never sniffing anything significant with Garrett. Who knows? It’s going to be a heck of an off-season.

That’s totally false. Dak already said he wasn’t interested dealing with things once season started, and that he had people to deal with that stuff. He wasn’t kidding...it’s not a big priority till after season.

Well it should be a priority. There’s a reason why the Eagles and Rams got their deals done with their QB’s. The Jones’s don’t know what they’re doing if they’re waiting. We have 3 pro Bowlers who’ll command big money this offseason. If you sign one you can franchise the other and use the transition tag on another. If you let all 3 go unsigned 1 is definitely gone.

I agree about the off-season. Hopefully we're all talking about a head coach hunt because Garrett got fired.

Relax...Zeke early one year on deal is what messed it up. They had to put Dak on hold ...it’s not a big issue with FO and Dak as it is everyone outside. Dak’s position was very clear. Once season starts...we’ll deal with that stuff after. All this is,and just got to wait.
