So with your knowledge, was Aikman a franchise QB? Because if Dak had Aikman's defenses during his SB run, Dak would see an NFC conference game or even a SB. But Dak needs a running game (Aikman had Emmitt) since Zeke is up/down, and some resemblance of a defense that won't fold vs playoff quality teams.

I agree with $28 million. I consider him along the lines of a Carr and Cousins - that's his level in my opinion.

The Rams overpaid for Goff which is an issue as Prescott's agent will dine out over that but as people have stated, just because another team wants to overpay for a QB, it doesn't mean that we have to.

He could earn circa $28 million a year at the Dallas Cowboys and he deserves a good chunk of guaranteed money. He should consider the other benefits and endorsements that come with being the QB of the Cowboys along with one of the best offensive lines and running games in the league. Plus Cooper isn't too shabby as his WR1.

Or sure he could probably get $35 million a year at a team like the Bengals and basically turn into a bum due to the lack of weapons around him and a horrific O-Line.

It's a game of chicken at the moment and it's interesting how it will play out.

He needs a running game (Zeke who use to use his speed on the outside once in a blue moon), and a defense that can do something besides miss tackles. Aikman would never have sniffed an NFC conference game without having that too.

We've had this conversation before. Most teams don't do well when their rushing game is under 75 yards. Your argument is just stupid. As far as the "FRANCHISE" bailing you out... Dak was a fourth round pick... Zeke was fourth overall. Dak is making 2.03 million this year. Where was our 90 million dollar man? Zeke carrying Dak... LMAO. Dak had 397 yards and 3 TDs. Zeke had 47 yards on 20 carries, 16 on 2 receptions and 0 Tds. Dak should charge Zeke cab fare for carrying his *** around the other night.

I said "splash" performance meaning were Dak's QB skills were the primary factor in winning the game.

Dallas outlasted Seattle in that one Zeke had almost 140 yards rushing and the defense held
the Seahawks #1 rushing attack to 73 yards

Dak finished the game with 225 yards passing and an 83 passer rating.

Total team effort and a great playoff win but hardly an outstanding / over the top QB performance
in a playoff game.

But hey, he's only had three chances in the playoffs, maybe this year will be different.
