Mets are looking into Carlos Beltran becoming their manager. As a Met fan I see Joe Torre de ja vu. Torre retired as a player and became the Mets manager the same day. That did not end well. Of course he ended up managing the Yankees and became one of the all time greats and a Hall of Fame manager. Beltran will probably get his feet wet with the Mets if they hire him and after a couple of years will move on to bigger and better things. He will then go over to the Yankees and lead them to multiple championships. It is just the way life repeats itself over and over again.

Mets star 2nd baseman from yesteryear won a championship for the Mets Single A Brooklyn team this year. Players loved him and fans had such great memories of Fonzie. In reward for all the good things Fonzie has done in teh past and has done in the present, The Mets rewarded him with firing him from his job. Take a hike bubba, Sayanoro Senor Fonzie, or to quote Bruce Willis in several Die Hard movies, Yippee-Ki-Yay (yea you know the rest). God, I hate this team with a passion. But unfortunately, love and hate is all part of the same coin. but for this event, I hate them.

Well

Orioles are in a complete rebuild there’s absolutely no position that couldn’t use an upgrade

im fond of mancini and villar though.....its gonna be another 50 win season next year but we should atleast get a good core intact and hopefully compete in 2021

Reports are the Mets are to hire Carlos Beltran as their next manager and Terry Collins will be his bench coach. Maybe they can hire Mickey Calloway as their pitching coach.

Going to be interesting to see what the Nats do. A lot of talent unsigned and role players being moved.

Liking the Nats moves thus far.

Strasburg is lights out in the postseason. Gomez and Kendrick were two key role players last season.

pitching was key for us so I see why they kept Strasburg over Rendon.

Huge holes to fill at 1st and 3rd. Otherwise pretty happy with how we look right now

I really miss that team, they had something special and was fun to watch come together.
The grand slam single game was epic. The extra inning playoff game against the Braves who we just could not beat ending with a walk off walk was more painful than any other playoff game in any sport. I still remember Bobby Valeniine throwing up his arms in disgust.
