And there it is. Garrett is such a moron. And he's too dumb to even realize he was wrong with a day to think about it after the fact.

No way to get better yards/second with the remaining time than to head Austin downfield on a punt return with an automatic clock stoppage thereafter. Our fastest player with an open field to work with.

Even beyond that, *given* that you're behind the eight ball in the game and likely to lose anyway, you don't play it safe on the kick return. That's a prime chance to break a play. Better chance than a Hail Mary, and we apparently felt that we needed more yards to take a shot at the end zone.

It's amazing how Garrett can consistently be *so wrong* about game management.

It wasn't a "communication issue". Garrett was just *so wrong* about this. Like always. The guy is just an anchor on game day. Coaches must pray they get to face him in the playoffs.

We used to never run on 1st down. We used to throw 30 yard passes almost every set of downs. And that was stupid also.

Sooooooooo, JG caught a lot of flak for this. So now, he runs too much on 1st downs.

I seriously don't comprehend the depth of lunacy in this org. There's just no logic.

He reminds me of a grizzled older Vietnam war vet who used to a manager at a grocery store, you could ask him a simple question and 30 minutes later he would still be rambling on without even answering your question directly.

Well Jason kind of muddies the waters with his answers. I expect that his defensive alarms have been ringing off the wall. There's only two paths he can go from here; get his teams a bunch of wins and slide into the playoffs and go for the gold, or continue losing and flop around like a fish out of water only to slowly die. I'm hoping for the former but it just feels like the latter.
