One thing I’ve really noticed this season especially and I think Jerry is noticing as well is Garrett has the tragically remarkable ability to find mind-boggling ways to lose. It’s almost as if he is trying to throw the game.

While we see other coaches find ways to win, I can’t ever recall a time in the last 5 years where Jason Garrett propelled us to an victory. In fact the only schematic adjustment I can recall recently was putting Jourdan Lewis on Kamara in 2018. And that’s wasn’t even an offensive move.

Given all this talent, Garrett will still find a way to lose. There are only a few other fan bases who endure losses like ours, where the wins are right there, but coaching and discipline issues pull it out from under us.

Best part is, you can see it on Jerry’s face that he finally sees it too.

This is the false perception of a frustrated fan. At this point, there really are no new ways to lose in the NFL. That's not a defense of the Cowboys - they made some bad choices. But they didn't lose in a way that no other team ever has.

I’m not saying it in the sense of “these ways to lose have never occurred before”. More like he often finds another boneheaded reason to lose.

Every season there’s a few games where you just scratch your head and wonder how any respectable decision maker could let that series of events unfold. It’s comical at this point honestly

I think that's the part that all of us can take comfort in.

Finally, Jerry sees it.

I guess we disagree.

I feel his failure of coaching, one way or the other, led to Tavon fair catching that ball. I can’t predict with certainty, but I feel very strongly had he returned that he’d have gotten 20 yards easy and maybe scored.

His ineptness was on display in a new way and played a major role in the loss.

This is the same thing we've gotten from Garrett forever. He may have every trait and characteristic that you could want off the field. But none of it matters when the games start. And that's when everything falls apart with him. All the prep, organization, and speeches in the world can't prepare a team enough for a coach that has no answers on gamedays.
