It’s funny to me that people think it’s milestone based. You are turning Garrett into Joe Flacco. If they do make it to the championship game, that suddenly means Garrett gets a five year extension and everything is ok? As if making the championship game one year in the NFL means anything, or that it means that you can’t follow it up with four losing seasons in a row. Garrett is Joe Flacco.

Lions, Bears, and Commanders, I think we can beat.
Rams and Eagles could go either way. Patriots will be a massacre.
Lions game should be interesting this Sunday.

Lions (3-5-1)
Patriots (8-1)
Bills (6-3)
Bears (4-5)
Rams (5-4)
Eagles (5-4)
Commanders (1-8)
I wouldn't be so confident about the Bears in CHI in December. Stafford won't play so the Lions game looks like they get to 6-4 and 6-5 the following week. I want that game in PHL to be for the division and the Cowboys cannot be more than 1 game behind.

Come on?? Are we seriously having this discussion? This team is not capable of putting two wins together.
No disciple. Football players yearn to be led, but we have a buffoon as our coach and the ultimate man responsible is Jerry. We will get to our requisite of 8 wins and somehow be mathematically eligible to win the division.
Jerry will collect his millions and move on. Jerry does not care about winning the SB. He just wants the Cowboys to be in the news. Any news is good news.
I have gotten a new perspective on watching the Cowboys. It's all a show. WWE of professional sports.
Every game has the same pattern. You get the blank looking coach on the sideline, you get plastic face Jerry in the owners box. Dak's emergence, a mention of how great the stadium, you know they have an art gallery there.
The team has become the face of the corporate NFL. As long as Ford, Pepsi & ED advertisers are interested we are good.
Jerry does not care
They won two games before Sunday

5-2 is the most likely result of the last seven games which would have the Cowboys at 10-6 and winning the NFC East. I think you Garrett haters would hate it if the Cowboys swept through their competition in the playoffs and won the SB because you know you would be stuck with Garrett who will never have that kind of luck again. Show of hands, is one SB win worth being stuck with Garrett for the next 10 years?

Honestly, unless/until Mickey begins spinning this season as a prove it year for JG, I wouldn't get my hopes up in either scenario. I haven't listened to Mickey all year, but I always considered him the closest thing to Jerry's private thoughts.

I’m not confident about Bears or Lions after last week. If the good version of the Cowboys show up I think we got a shot. Who knows what Garrett will fck up though.

We’ve reached the point where a long win streak terrifies people as it would leave no alternative to confronting a closely held agenda. This is terrifying.

This team went on a 7-1 last year after starting 3-5.

What if all the angst and heat they are facing after this last L causes them to circle the wagons and get right?

What is they go 7-0 down the stretch and finish 12-4 and win the NFCE and lose in the divisional round again?

We would be stuck with Garrett and still have nothing to show for anything in the post-season

I realize they would have to beat the Pats— but it would be wild if it played out like this. Would be a nightmare scenario for sure.

That's not a nightmare scenario, that borders on the paranormal. But I do love the effort by you to make me want to eat my hat. But that's just not going to happen. Not this team.

I agree, except I don't think the Pats will be a massacre. I certainly think the Pats will beat Dallas, but 6 of the Patriots 8 wins have been against teams that have a 3-6 record or worse, so they aren't as strong as the record shows. The Ravens pretty well dominated them.

They almost need to go 7 - 0 at to make the playoffs at this point. If the Cowboys and Eagles both go 5 - 2, and one of our losses is to the Eagles, the Eagles will win the division and the Cowboys will watch the playoffs on TV.
That’s not necessarily true...

Someone called me a moron on here for saying this or stupid I can't remember what it was doesn't really matter it was probably some Snowflake and didn't understand what I was saying but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a few college teams out there that couldn't whip our butt

Everyone in the freaking world knows what we're going to run or how we're going to play before the game even starts we are not very hard to game plan for

So people who "claim" to be Cowboy fans are scared the Cowboys will win football games? Most stupid fan base in sports.
