It starts with the owner.
It does start with the Owner 24 years of stupidity Not putting this franchise in position to win. Then Jason gets the blame. He is the freaking HC how can you NOT be in on the most important play of the game?? Really your going to let the worst ST coach in the league make that kind of decision and you have NO input? WOW!!!
Moore also takes blame How in the world do you run the ball twice and then throw it to Zeke when Cooper had been killing them all night?? Jason should have been on the play calling at that point also. Again your the HC how could you not be in on that play calling?
IM at the point that I dont even care if we win the SB I dont want this coaching staff back PERIOD!

It doesn't matter who or what Tavon was told, or who messed up.

You don't sell your player out like that to the media. I'd be pissed too.

Exactly, and Garrett has a history of this. Ask Romo and Wade. I really and genuinely don't like Garrett as a person for what he did. I lost what little respect I had for him after he threw Austin, Dak, and Moore under the bus.

if he fumbled Austin would have gotten the blame just like Cole Beasley did when he fumbled at the end of the giants game a few years ago. They didn't get a chance to comeback because beasley fumbled and the game was over. Beasley was blamed completely.

That's what I'm saying here, well done Mike!

To those out there who still claim this and insist no coach would do any better under Jerry, this is a perfect example of where you're wrong. You think Jerry somehow doesn't want basic fundamentals like clear communication on the sideline? Is he somehow meddling or interfering with that, too?

Yes he actually does meddle in this. Jason does not get to hire and fire his coaching staff as he sees fit. Stephen or Jerry have to make that call. That's why he said they hadn't talked about firing linehan right before he was let go, cause it's not his decision. This affects the entire coaching tree and how coaching matters get handled. Too many chiefs and no one actually in charge. The buck stops with Jason regardless but this stuff will continue like it has since jimmy except during parcels time.

No, he doesn't call plays, but every major decision on the field is, or should be, run by him. What do you think the headset he wears is used for, genius?

Unless of course, you would like me to believe Garrett's headset actually isn't even connected to anything and he just wears it to hold down his toupee, or to make it look like he's actually working. Those are also totally plausible scenarios.

That explains why you never actually see him talk into the headset. You're absolutely right. The HC is in charge of every decision and how to handle these situations. If not, what is he doing exactly if he isn't in charge of managing the game and those under him? That includes the OC and the ST coach and the DC. People rather blame everyone else.

Not directly but by hiring unqualified coaches like Garrett, he sets the team up for this kind of crap.

He's afraid of the head strong coach who has spent a lifetime mastering his craft because if that coach found success, it would steal Jeri's thunder and be massive indictment of how pathetic Jeris ways of doing things the last 25 years have been

Sorry, but thats BS. You are still finding a way to blame JG on this. When this was clearly on the ST coach and then he lied about it on top of it all. This is the type of thing that will turn players against coaches in a heart beat.

JG must be the only coach in NFL history who is never accountable for his assistant coaches' performances.
