1st, First biggest problem i see is we keep going back on critical downs like 3rd and 2 and 4th down and our offense keeps going back to mentality of were going to run it, no matter what down your throat when all game long we couldnt run, whether that is coming from head coach Jason Garrett, or someone else calling the shots, that has to change that mentality, its not working
2nd, Its to late to change now and granted a 57 yard field goal is hard to make but every 2 or 3 games Maher is costing us games by missing field goals, that has to change or be fixed next year
3rd, Again probably to late to fix, but we need a true blue fullback, one we have half blocks and leans into blocks doesnt open up holes whoever is running this offense and cant see that, that coach is blind that has to change, our fullback mentality has to change and our TE's blocking has to change, our TE's blocking was awful against the vikings, how many times did you see Vikings fullback open up holes, but not our TE's and fullback, that HAS TO CHANGE NOW
4th, Again to late to fix, but either management has to get us a safety, free safety with top end speed, like 4.38 in 40 or faster to cover, if you all remember the seattle defense was key with their top safety who ran 4.34 in 40, we need a top free safety, when we had championships in 90s we had darren woodson a strong safety who ran 4.45, our safeties are mostly slower than that
5th, I am getting tired of Marelleni defense without a top run stuffing DT we need a top DT to plug up the middle,, keep guards and center off of our linebackers, thats key for our defense, if you look at kris richard defense in seattle they had a top DT run stopper and a top safety, we are sorely lacking in that, till that is fixed, this defense is going to have problems
6th, THIS HAS GONE ON LONG ENOUGH ABOUT DAK AND COOPER NOT BEING SIGNED LONGTERM, THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW, AND THOSE 2 PLAYERS NEED TO BE NOT SO GREEDY, THERE IS NO WAY IN WORLD DAK IS WORTH 34 MILLION OR MORE HE IS ASKING FOR, FANS NEED TO LET THIS BE KNOWN, HAS DAK WON A CHAMPIONSHIP, HAS DAK WON A SUPER BOWL? NO!!! Wilson, Rodgers have all won superbowls but not dak, quit being greedy dak, cooper has shown i would agree with 18 million a year but not 20, two times this year or more cooper who i love and respect as a super wr, has been hurt, we need him and dak to realize this is a very young team, if both of them agree to longterm, say dak for 30 to 33 a year, and cooper 18 million a year, for four to five years contract, then we can sign top free agents in 2020 to take this team over the top to two to 3 super bowls in 5 year window, Dak, Cooper and Jerry Jones with Stephen Jones need to get this done and both those players need to quit being greedy, we will have like 90 million next year in cap salary, so 30 million or more to Dak and 18 to Cooper, rounds out to about 40 million left over, we might still need to resign bryon jones, but we should have about 35 million or so left over, that can be signed to get 2 top free agents next year, THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE AND NOW!
7TH IF you look at teams that went to super bowl and won, they went out and got top free agents that year that had been to a super bowl and won, example in 1970 we got herb adderly, we won a super bowl next year, in 77 we had already gotten two top defensive players in draft in ed jones and randy white, then we traded for tony dorsett, boom we won super bowl, we got running back from pittsburgh, boom super bowl, he was on super bowl teams, in 92 we traded for charles haley, even troy aikman said this team had no idea what it took to win a super bowl till haley got here, and we got a play making safety in thomas everett, boom 3 super bowls, when the eagles won their super bowl they had like 5, count them 5 players that had been to a super bowl, knew what it took, boom they won the super bowl, belicheck won lots of super bowls getting top players at end of their careers to come to new england and win, boom they keep winning super bowls, we need some top players to show players on our team now, what it takes to win a super bowl, granted still can be done because we have one player on our team now that has won a super bowl, from the trade with new england and was with seattle, he is still a good player, have a chance to get to super bowl, but if things above especially the first whoever has mentality that were going to run it down your throats,, at critical moments when all night long we couldnt run, yet there we are, and now there is video of our star center yelling at sideline why would you call that run, when all night we couldnt run, that OBVIOUSLY HAS TO CHANGE SO WHOEVER IS CALLING THAT, NEEDS TO QUIT, AND GET IN A LOT OF TROUBLE NOW!!
Finally our special teams play has to change, teams have been returning punts and kickoffs on us, right and left, and now we had a play where looks like austin didnt know what to do in that situation, this is on the special teams coach for sure but also on jason garrett the head coach, that kind of stuff has to change, GROW UP JASON GARRETT, AND SPECIAL TEAMS COACH, OR GET REPLACED, case in point we have a star player, tony pollard who has returned kickoffs and i believe punts right and left in college, especially in college, but pollard sits there and doesnt return, why not, why hasnt pollard been put on punt returns and gotten ready, looks like to me our special teams coach isnt doing his job, and head coach has little clue, about his ability, time this coaching staff gets their behind chewed out some by management and fans and change or else. THIS ALL POINTS TO COACHING TO A LARGE DEGREE AND WHY IS OUR TEAM ALWAYS SLOW GETTING OFF SCORING FIRST QUARTER AND HALF OF 2ND QUARTER, THAT HAS TO DO AGAIN WITH COACHING, AND PREPARING THE PLAYERS, GETTING THE PLAYERS READY TO PLAY, THIS HAS GOT TO STOP ACCOUNTABILITY HAS TO BE TAKEN AND MANAGEMENT HAS TO TAKE NAMES FROM MAYBE THEMSELVES AND COACHING STAFF AND PLAYERS NOT BEING READY TO PLAY,
