Because his current contract is good until the end of the season. Do you not believe grown men can have the understanding to honor contracts?

Lots of grown men get fired mid-season.

Jerry isn’t making a $30+MM hiring decision based on this year’s win/loss record guys. Come on.

He knows and likes what he’s got in Garrett. He’ll upgrade if he thinks one is available. They’ll do a shorter extension if one isn’t but he’s really unhappy with this season. Or he’ll just re-up for five more years if he’s happy with what he’s got.

If win/loss doesn’t matter, why the hell is he going to wait to extend him?

This logic doesn’t add up and I don’t even think you are buying what you’re selling here.

True but I'm talking specifically about Jerry and his adopted son Jason Garrett.

Well yes that club is all about honoring contracts. In my line of work a contract always has an easy opt-out which was why all that angst directed at Zeke over his holdout was confusing to me.

So basically Garrett is that boyfriend you keep around until a better one happens to come along. He looks REAL happy about that situation on the sideline.

if Jerry didn't own all the media in Dallas....one would think a college grad journalist would ask this very simple question.....but nope...can't put the big guy on the spot, now can we
