Bryan Broaddus, any updates with him not on Talkin' Cowboys?

Its been a funky week. Supposedly HWTB on 11/12 podcast did not get uploaded because Jesse Holley got real critical about the coaching staff and their tavon austin blunder and other things. I wouldn't be surprised if this is somehow related to BB as BB does not tow the company line and maybe had an agrument/blowout with the company lap dogs (derek/mickey). I don't know, just taking a wild guess, but it seems like he got tired of trying to be nice about this coaching staff on the shows......

Bryan is okay but he can get real chippie, really easily. Not excusing anyone that ran him off here but needs to develop thicker skin.

That being said, whatever issue he's going through that has him away from work, I hope everything works out well. Bryan is always a good listen or read.

I replied to one of his posts when he did post here.

He had said that a backup player performed poorly the previous preseason/training-camp.

My reply was that the player could not have performed poorly because he was out injured during that time.

He got really angry just over that comment.

Although I like him, Bryan can be very condescending to fans, especially if anyone challenges or doubts him.

If you're reading Bryan, I would say this to your face too.

someone asked him recently if he thought the Cowboys were going to resign Gallup...he said something along the lines that he will be retired by the time that is possible.

so 1-2 more years.

I think Mickey is about 10 years older than Broaddus.

I doubt if Broaddus is planning to retire before Gallup gets a contract.

It was likely just a figure of speech.

Well his skin definitely isn't thick enough to hang around here then if that's all you said. LOL

It would be nice if people like them would post here just so we could ask questions once in awhile but if they say something dumb, they don't deserve any special treatment just like the rest of us..

Never know... people retire for all sorts of reasons at any point in their lives.

I am sure Jones are at Defcon 1 with sensitivity toward Garrett criticism & his potential job status. Brian was big critique of Garrett few years ago and wanted him fired. He joked he was surprised Jerry still kept him on show. These days, Charlotte Jones is in charge of the shows. I think it has become clear that Jones occasionally will deliver gag order on their media staff when particular topic gets too hot. Last year everyone was questioning decision to go with unproven Kellen Moore as OC. The staff (particularly Shan & RJ on 103.5) were critical of that decision. Then magically one day their entire view changed and they were all in on Moore as savior. It was so noticeable that people on twitter were calling them out over it. My sense is Brian once again wants to speak his mind on Garrett but Charlotte is putting him in penalty box until he softens his tone.

In other words I just don’t like her voice. When I first heard her I thought she had a speech impediment. She struggles with certain words because English isn’t her first language. You mentioned Taylor Stern she sounds like a cartoon character.

They hired her for her looks but let’s be honest, she’s not really that pretty. I thought the idea was that she was going to do work for the Spanish language audience, but she almost never does that. Somos Cowboys puts out one article per week and it’s usually just a translation.

The timing is after the Giants game so what did he say during postgame of the Giants to get him in trouble? It can’t be total work related or he wouldn’t be allowed to still do mailbag where he gives his opinion.

So what would be the cause for him to be able to do one part of his job but not another? Note the part of his job he is doing is one he can do from home.

And he also isnt doing anything with 105.3 the fan which he could do over the phone from home. Despite his opinions of the coaching staff he could still give his opinions of the other team. This makes me think it’s a personal issue that got him in trouble.

Ambar is pretty but certainly not great looking. She’s not someone you would hire because of her looks. She doesn’t speak well enough to be doing a show like that. Derek Eagleton must think she’s hot he’s the one that hired her and allows her to host the show once in a while.
