I agree with this 100% with you. But you still can't suspend someone for what might or might not have happened. I'm not arguing that Mason wasn't a factor. He was the driving force behind it. But you have to understand that it doesn't matter. You can only judge Mason by what he did. Which isn't much in terms of scrums like these in the past. Mason isn't responsible for what Garrett did as a result. That's how they'll treat this. That's always how they treat things off the football field as well.
I definitely agree that you can't suspend people for.what might have happened.
Which is why I think Myles suspension will be reduced. Because Mason wasn't hurt by the helmet swing. I also understand your point that maybe a suspension isn't warrented for.starting the incident and kicking Myles in the groin. He'll probably be fined.
