in all seriousness Quinn is a beast. Wish we would have offered him a long term contract before the season started

I'm not sure Quinn has the motor or locks up the running game like Lawrence - also the age factor. That's part of why he got paid. There's more a defensive end than sacks.

Y'all need to go back to work. These Monday new threads are atrocious.

This post would make no sense at any time during this season but it makes a lot less sense now than it would have a month ago. Lawrence has played very well the last month or more. Appears he had to shake off some rust from the off season surgery.

Quinn will not get near the contract Lawrence did.
why?
he isn't nearly as good.
he's benefiting a ton from having Lawrence opposite him. it's a really great duo right now.

how can people not see how much Lawrence does for the defense all-around? sacks are not the only thing he brings to the table. he's a great player and his motor is as present as ever. all this D-Law slander is insane.

I'll say naw to giving his $$ to Quinn, BUT maybe we could split Zekes and give some of it to Pollard... that makes more sense IMO.

Quinn deserves whatever his production calls for.

The same can certainly be allowed for Lawrence.

Also, add some DTs who can plug the run better.

Lawrence is playing his tail off.

Quinn is a one-trick pony . He can't carry Lawrence's jock strap.

Quinn is feeding off of Lawrence, taking advantage of opportunities. It would be nice if Dallas found a way to keep him if not too expensive.

I have to give Tank some credit. When the defense gave up one of those big screens to the Lions and looked like absolute trash in doing so, the next play he came out absolutely on fire and crushed Scarbrough. It might just be from a fan's point of view, but he seemed pretty frustrated with what was going on around him.

Last I saw the stat in October, Tank was being double teamed more than any other edge rusher in the league. When that happens, it's up to Quinn and the others to take advantage, but Quinn appears to be the only one doing so. The rest of the line isn't giving the opponent any reason "not" to double team Tank.

Was anyone displeased with Lawrence yesterday? The guy not only put pressure on the QB, but was outstanding in run support. That's the element he has to his game that is notably better than Quinn.

Because they stare strictly at sack totals.

I certainly hope we can resign Quinn, despite his age.

I'd just prefer that we also sign Quinn. Why weaken the left side to make the right side strong?

Without Lawrence, Quinn would be seeing double-teams on every play. Then, fans would be complaining about him being a bad signing.

He didn't get a sack so of course they are displeased.
