If he was fired for a negative comment toward the team he covers, that would be disappointing though not unusual.

Lol. I remember on the old boards we had a member called the emperor who had his own pod cast and eventually got on as a writer for someone. Was interviewing Cowboys players... Haven’t heard from him in a long time. I used to call in and be a guest on his show...

Sounds like something may happened behind the scenes with Cowboys podcast show, that could have caused his " leave" for the last couple of weeks.

Maybe 105.3 the fan radio will open up a working slot for him on Saturday mornings as they did for Jessie Holley?

Seems like he'd still like to continue in broadcasting business, cuz he certainly not a legit NFL scout anymore.
Dunno if that would be locally.. or if he would be moving elsewhere around the nation.

I knew he was gone after watching the post game show last night. Nate Newton was clearly referring to Broaddus but would not mention him by name. He said something like "the analyst who used to do the show with me". It was odd. Almost like they were told not to mention him by name...

Anyway this is a big loss for the media team. Didn't always agree with him but he definitely worked his tail off to provide info and analysis. They have no one on staff to replace him.

His son is local so you would think he would want to find something local.

It appears that it may be something behind the scenes he did that was inappropriate.

i'll miss Broaddus' Cowboys post-game write ups on Cowboys site, his appearance and analysts on Cowboys Now app post games (with Nate Newton) and his pre-draft notebook write ups analysts on daft prospects. Ditto with Broaddus' draft show. overall Broaddus was a personality, and he had more appeal going forward that Cowboys site than anyone, including Mickey.
But I cant help but wonder if some egos may have bumped heads or if it was some misconduct and disciplinary action that had to take place.
