Beating teams is not an individual stat. Dakota also played well after the slow starts with Minny and GB... There are reasons (some that Dak is responsible for and many others that he is not e.g. drops, penalties, etc) regardless, his worst games were not dogs, but considered average to slightly below avg..
When you're down, 31-3, it doesn't matter how you play thereafter.

Thankfully our $108 million runningback is returning from Mexico to add some juice to our #1 ranked offense. Oh wait...

I for one, dont believe in moving goal post in any way shape or form. If he feasts on the bottom 10 or worse defenses that has to be factored in. But facing the Patriots and Bills good defenses the next couple weeks has to be factored in as well. I hope he shreds them and will extremely happy to acknowledge it

The fair minded posters here will tell you I dont go away. Always here on Monday to share my views like the rest of us.

I know you are. I've had discussion with you before. That's why I said "they" instead of "you".

Weren't you the one talking about the 70s and the 90s? If so, then maybe you should tell Frank Reich "When you're down 31-3, it doesn't matter how you play thereafter". I say this because in a playoff game, Frank Reich brought the Bills back from a 35-3 deficit and won the game. But hey, if you are the type to lay down and die when things get tough, that's on you. I'm glad Dak kept fighting and trying to win that game for us.

He's the best quarterback I've ever seen.

He's had pedestrian rosters with lousy defenses and so-so receivers most of his career. And awful coaches.

If he had a roster like this in Dallas.....oh my word.

I think Rodgers is an amazing qb, but Cobb sure does appreciate Dak's game.

He is doing better as 3 over here than he did in years while playing as one of the go to options for Arod.

I also think Rodgers has had some pretty nice wrs over the years; Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson and Donald Driver were all pretty good in their peaks. Devante Adams is elite.

I appreciate his effort, but I don't credit the garbage time stats.

The game you referenced ended the run and shoot offense. Houston couldn't run clock.

Hmmm, I wasn't aware there was any "Garbage Time" while you were still trailing. I thought "Garbage Time" was when you put in second stringers to protect your starters.

Fine, let's compare the two to common opponents (Det, Minn, Philly)

Rodgers W/L=2-1
80/126, 914yds, 63.5%, 7.3 avg/att, 6TD (0 rushing TD), 2Int, 94.5 rating, 42.7avg QBR

Dak W/L=2-1
78/119, 1080yds, 65.5%, 9.1 avg/att, 7 TD (1 Rushing TD), 2Int, 107.3 rating, 73.1 avg QBR

At some point people need to acknowledge that Dak is playing at an elite level regardless of the opponent (anybody see Brady's stats against the eagles or Clev, or NYJ pt2).
I fully acknowledge that Dak has played well.

No, garbage time stats come when the other team is basically letting you march down the field as long as you burn clock in the process. Give up all the underneath stuff and protect deep.

At 31-3, Green Bay just needed to nurse that game to the final whistle.

And we lead the league in drops...imagine if we could catch the football. Kellen Moore should be offensive coordinator of the year with the junk he's having to work with.

Uh, the NFC has been vastly superior to the AFC most every year for a long time.

The Patriots and Steelers only. Perhaps the Ravens. Others here and there.

Bills, Browns, Jets, Dolphins, Bengals, Raiders, Chiefs, Titans, Chargers, Texans, Jaguars.....

Bad teams most of the time.
Not having to compete against Brady, Peyton, Big Ben, and Rivers during their prime means he’s had it easier path to the SB each year. Dude just chokes.

LOL yes JG would help him win more than one ring. He’s had some of the best WRs in the league at the time Driver, Jennings, Jordy, Cobb, Adams, and Graham. Had some decent defenses and the NFC north wasn’t very good when he took over. Should have done more especially playing in the weaker NFC.
didn't he have a 15-1 team after the superbowl year and got smoked in the playoffs by the Giants.

That’s why is said, “ I for one”.....acknowledgement that others have.

I knew what you meant. All good

Although I was responding to your post, I wasn’t responding towards you. There are a faction of posters here who literally cannot find it within themselves to see anything positive about Daks play. They went so far as to say Dak was the 32nd ranked QB in the league. They argued how they wished we had a QB like Wentz...Dak could never be as good as him. Yet as Dak continues to improve (and far surpass Wentz), do they jump on board and support their team? No they criticize his good play as not good enough and that he is on the precipice of eventually failing. These are not the responses of true fans.

He’s underachieved but people give him a pass cause he has that one ring. If he didn’t have that ring he’d be called an all time choker.

Not saying Dak isn't playing at an elite level, but neither Brady nor Rodgers are as good as they once were. They are still good, but Dak's QB peers are Wilson, Mahomes and probably Jackson. Might can throw Watson in there, and there's a few others on the rise.
