Coaches don't key in on Jarwin on the field. It's like a frog in a gradually heated pot, coaches seem to not sense danger from the TE position with Witten on the field most of the game. Jarwin is the heat cranked up, burning up the frog.

I kind of think Jarwin and Pollard were used about the perfect amount yesterday especially when you factor in Gallop and Cobb's big days.

It was one of the better games by Moore IMO

I am not a fast man but i bet i can run faster than Witten,he is so so slow .He was never fast but now he must be slower than everybody on the field.

We dont use our talent like we should and thats on coaching

theres no reason Tavon shouldn’t get 1 deep pass a game

theres no reason Jarwin shouldn’t see more action

pollard should be used 12-15 times a game split it between pass and rush attempts

we have 16-0 talent but use them in a 2-14 fasion

How can professional coaches not see he HAS to be on the field more. The man can play and is like a wideout running down the seam and after the catch. It’s crazy that our passing game can still be better with guys like Jarwin and pollard playing

Witten lining up at WR is hilarious. No idea why we even do it. Jarwin on the other hand can scoot. He should be running seam and post routes non-stop.

Jarwin needs a lot more looks . Agreed. He could be a star. I have no idea why he is used so little.Maybe Witten near the endzone that's it

Some organizations still carry personal bias, still declared too loyalty to declining players, ..(and coaches) and still be so set in their minds and in their ways with hanging onto declining players and coaches to the very end, even at the cost of the team.

this team loves and adores aging 37 yr old Jason witten so much, as they still him as such a cerebral, coach-like figure on the playing field, and sees that as a plus for Dak.
They've entitled Witten to play clearly as much snaps as he has this year, despite many assuming Witt was going to play just 25 snaps while the much more athletic and speedier
Jarwin who is still in the developing stage, would take on the most snaps. ..Wrong !

and it's not just Witten,.. we do the same entitlement, loyalty stamp with Rod Marinelli too, .... we do the same thing with Sean Lee, ..

the one area I do still wonder how much or less Jarwin is a factor is in the in-line blocking, Witten is ever declining, even in this area, but is Jarwin still getting overpowered and uplifted off the line as a blocker, as he really seems more like a buffed up WR than a TE.

Jarwin has the entire season last year to prove that he is starter quality and he wasn’t. He has been good on limited plays where his speed helps him, but he has not been that great when asked to be an every down TE.

This reminds me very much of what happens every preseason in half the camps around the league. Some young late-round or undrafted RB comes into camp and runs wild, everyone gets all excited about this incredible talent they stole, and then he gets cut. Why? Because he can't block worth a lick.

I don't know the extent to which that's the issue keeping Jarwin from seeing the field more, but if you want to disguise what's coming and be able to run and pass with the same personnel, your TE has to be able to do more than just catch passes.

Dallas has the best passing offense in the league, and half the threads here are about how to fix it.

Because the Cowboys are led by amateurs.

I am hoping Witten gets injured which is sad because that's the only way it seem we get the better player on the field.

Sad how quits on the team. Take a year off and gets his starting spot back. No way todays witten is better than Jarwin. Even if they were equal i would go with Jarwin because the upside is there.

I'm a big Witten fan and he can still play. Particularly as a blocker and check down outlet for positive yards. But didn't think he would play 75% of snaps this season. At this point would rather see a 50/50 split and give Jarwin a few more opportunities. He is the better option for stretching the field and should be out there in every 3rd and long situation. If it's 3 and 5 sure trott Witten out he will get you the 1st down, plus 1 yard!!

They have to remove their lips from Witt’s azz long enough to take a gander. I just love watching Witt turn a 6yd catch with a slow-mo fall forward for another yard.

Jarwin actually plays more than I thought after someone pointed out the actual pct of snaps he plays
