More Lewie-Lewie on the field.
I can dig it.

Sucks for AB though...
I hope he invests!

I bet you he gets a nice little contract somewhere next season.

Yeah the bright side is we get to see more Lewis.

My concern now is depth.

Promote Donovan Olumba or look outside the organization?

Some free agents available:

David Amerson
Trevor Williams
Duke Thomas
Quinten Rollins
Jamar Summers
Jocquez Kalili
Guess our 1st round pick is going to be best CB available.

..isnt that kinda of a good thing? I mean, nothing personal. But he has become a liability out there. Lets get some new meat on the field. ;)... I wanna ROCK.....!!!!

Yet another addition by subtraction...we're injury bugging our way to better defense, hopefully.

Sucks for Brown, but interested to see what Lewis can do down the stretch with an extended opportunity. This secondary is getting overhauled in the off-season.

Agreed. I like his effort and attitude in preseason games. Has good size (6'2" 205), more of an outside corner but Lewis, Awuzie, and Jones can all play inside.
I like Olumba only thing is he is extremely slow footed. So he has to play a certain technique and use athletic intelligence to make plays. While it looks good in the preseason, he could be a huge liability versus a quality WR.

What we would likely see in a scenario where we lose one of our top 3 is Woods moving to more slot snaps. Played a lot in the slot his rookie year and played well

Brutal injury. Brown hasn't been the same really since his breakout year, but he certainly hasn't been terrible. Don't think he'll be back in Dallas next year, but some CB needy team will give him a pretty penny.

Only positive out of this is that Richard has no choice but to give Jourdan Lewis the playing time his deserves. Shame on Richard if he doesn't, just because Lewis isn't "his" type of DB.

As far as I'm concerned, it can start with its overrated leader.

Ken Norton had a torn bicep and still played the entire season, not to mention a TD saving tackle in the Superbowl. I tore the tendon in my upper arm that holds up my bicep and was still able to function. This kids injury must be pretty bad.

That sounds crazy, but the way the body is able to adapt is amazing. Kaiser was born without a brain and he still manages to participate in the forum is another example that comes to mind.

You have two tendons connecting your bicep to your shoulder and one connecting to your elbow. If you tear one of those upper tendons you can manage it. If you tear the lower you're headed for surgery. You're not playing with it.
