Not saying Dak isn't playing at an elite level, but neither Brady nor Rodgers are as good as they once were. They are still good, but Dak's QB peers are Wilson, Mahomes and probably Jackson. Might can throw Watson in there, and there's a few others on the rise.

I agree. My original response was to Erod who said imagine if Aaron Dodgers went up against the same teams as the Cowboys, so I compared the two.

Then Dakota should have no problem heaping up yards on the Patriots. If he has the most yards and is a top 5 QB like many are posting here, he should ball out against them

Ya cant have it both ways. Either he puts up or many will have to shut up...….but of course his apologists will come out of the woodworking fluffing his performance.

Next couple weeks will tell the tale. Ya'll getting nervous?
Lol...
Do you want them to get nervous?

And if he light up the Patriots, our whole posse will be celebrating like hell!

Let’s make sure we are fair though.

look at how the patriots defense has played all year.

Nobody should expect Dak to put up 300 yards and 3 TD’s Sunday. Nobody has been doing that against NE.

Like I said in a previous post. If Dak throws for 60% completion percentage at 7 ypa for 200 yards and a TD with no turnovers. That would be an excellent game. Considering how good the patriots defense has been against other QB’s this year.

I would love to see Dak “tear them to shreds” but I don’t think that’s a fair expectation for even the best QB’s in the league to accomplish against them.

Opposing QBs have put up a 53.6% completion percentage, 5.3 yards per attempt, 4 TDs vs. 19 INTs, and a 49.2 passer rating against NE this season. That's counting the 107 rating Lamar Jackson put up (it's 41.5 if we don't include that game, on the theory that the Ravens represent a unique approach that we won't be replicating).

Opposing QBs have actually done better in Foxboro than on the road, putting up a 56.6 passer rating. But the weather's getting worse (no idea what it will be Sunday).

He's got to have some signature wins. Stats won't help him until he beats some teams with winning records.

What would Rodgers rack up if he got to play the Dolphins, Jets, Commanders, Lions, and Giants twice?

Well, Rodgers passed for 209 against the Vikings and 283 vs. the Lions in the game where Detroit got robbed by multiple phantom hands to the face penalties

His team is 6-4. Right or wrong, you rarely see an MVP come from a team that might miss the playoffs, especially at the quarterback position since they get wins and losses (unfairly) put on their shoulders.
this and he plays for the cowboys

I did the same to make the same point. I just think that bar has lowered and we need to recognize it. Brady and Rodgers are just not what they once were although they can still put together masterful performances at times.

Wince went for over 200 yards and 1 Td with no turnovers and dropped a sure dime to Algholar that should have been a TD, so we should expect our guy who is “way better than Wince” to do at least that much better

Looking forward to this statement game!

Look at his pedestrian receiving corps. Devante Adams has missed a bunch. He's throwing to dudes nobody has ever heard of.

Personnel matters.

And don't bore me with stats. He makes throws with ease I've never seen before him.
Didn’t you used to be a pretty good poster?

What happened man?

Hate has possibly taken over.

Almost 1,000 more passing yards than the apparent MVP, Lamar Jackson.

wrong again. Wentz had a turnover.

I also listed efficiency stats. Total yards is meaningless. Wentz went for 50% completion percentage and only 5 YPA.

again total yards are meaningless. Anybody who knows anything about football, knows that.

Also, right before that dropped pass, Wentz missed 3 passes in a row that would have went for first downs. So it was his fault that it was 4th down to begin with. Philly sports talk was talking about the missed passes repeatedly yesterday.

I’m guessing you either didn’t watch the game, or don’t know what it is you’re looking at. Which is probably why I shouldn’t have bothered talking to you about it in the first place.

Somebody needs to remind me why we paid a RB 90m, when it's more of a passing league now, and our passing game is working better.

The reason that Dak has been able to have so much success is that teams are focusing on our 90 million dollar man. They'll soon stop doing that and Zeke will roll over them like a bowling ball. We're definitely a 'pick your poison' team now. That's why you pay a RB big money.

I think 3rd is fair, and all 3 QBs in conversation are worthy of it right now. But it’s not the stats you want...playing catch up too much. And TD vs TO ratio not good. Seeing less comp pct too than earlier in year,he’s playing from a backed up corner in the room now. No defense,no run game,no STs...it’s been him and the pass game. Lucky they have two outstanding WRs or they’d be like a 5 win team playing from that position. Why his performances are highly admirable. The guy doesn’t know the odd’s,doesn’t believe it,and probably couldn’t care less if he did. Still would be out there playing till zero. He’s always up...always ready next round to fight. You got to love that in a QB regardless of anything else. It’s great long shot story stuff... hope he gets a SB and I get my happy ending in the movie this time.

Thats my bad my bad, no interceptions. I did watch the game. He actually had one of the best performances as a QB against the Patriots so far. Even Llamar Jackson had about 163 yards passing.

Dakota is #2 in Qbr and Wentz is #7 so why shouldn't we have good expectations? Why so mad so early in the morning? Have a cup of cocoa, take a deep breath and everything's gonna turn out fine.

No, garbage time stats come when the other team is basically letting you march down the field as long as you burn clock in the process. Give up all the underneath stuff and protect deep.

At 31-3, Green Bay just needed to nurse that game to the final whistle.

Oh, so they were letting the Cowboys catch up and almost win that game. OK. That must be why they never pulled their starters. They needed practice coasting.
