The question is which player does Belichick take out?

I sorta feel a bit sorry for Kellen for being saddled with the responsibility of game planning vs. a real heavyweight like Belichick next Sunday. It seems somewhat akin to a checkers player being forced to challenge a chess master, when one thinks about it. At least, he should have a ready excuse intact, should there be a sad ending to that story. The vaunted Dallas offense will have a hellishly tough defense to contend with in the Pats.

In any event, the Cowboys team will certainly have their work cut out for them to make a favorable impression at Gillette Stadium, come Sunday. The entire Cowboys team will be seriously challenged to play mistake-free football on both sides of the ball, without a doubt. Let's see if Garrett is able to overcome his tendency to "coach scared," as several critics being interviewed on NFL Network have stated recently. ;)

He is so unorthodox that in one home game, be chose to take Witten, Romo's blankie, out of the game. No one, especially Romo and the coaching staff, saw that coming.

Before this season, the answer would have been simple, Elliott because Prescott needed Elliott and now that has reversed. The Cowboys need to use the passing game to open up the run game.

Can Belichick, because his CB's can play well, take both Cooper and Elliott out?

You can't tell anything from that PHL game, they made it easy on Belichick by not having Howard, Jackson and Jeffery but he did let the game ride a little on Goedert and he dropped the ball.....too many times.

The more important question is with this being Moore's first game against him, which player does he think Belichick takes out and how does he overcome that?

Smart money says it's Cooper but just like Prescott has proven he doesn't have to have Elliott, he doesn't have to have Cooper. He's made that move to the open receiver as a QB.

I hope Young Kellen has studied his adversary well because he's going up against the best at giving an OC one look and changing that and making more than one adjustment during the game.

Everything has been just training up until this trip to where he coaches the best and his team plays the best. This is THE game I've been waiting for to see just what Kellen's got, what he's learned and what he's about to learn to make him a better OC. And this will not be about execution or results but more about can he play chess with a champion?

One thing for sure, Prescott is not getting the time in the pocket he's been getting.
Great question !

I think Bill is going to put pressure and cause havoc on Dak. He’s not going to let him sit back in the pocket.

I think Bill might look to take Dak and Zeke out.

Our offense has struggled against the better defenses and this is this the best one we’ve seen. I expect our running game to be shut down and forcing turnovers from Dak.

And Pats running game will gash our defense. Brady will pick us apart. If we don’t turn it over it could be low scoring but I’d say 31-16 Pats. Could be worse.

If we keep it within one score I’ll be shocked. It would be the biggest moral victory for this franchise since we lost to Peyton and Broncos 51-48. Lol

I don't think he can do that with just 4 and he's like Saban, doesn't like playing mobile QB's.

This game needs to be one where the QB plays RB more and the RB plays WR more.
Good point. Dak using his legs could give Pats fits. And if we can get Elliott in space like we did on his TD reception. Those two X-factors could foil Bills Plan.

If I'm belichek I'm taking away the outside wrs and make you beat me throwing to Cobb, Witten and check downs to the rbs. I would have Gilmore follow Gallup, and double amari all game. Clog the middle to help against the run as well.
Yea , Witten can’t even run a pattern more than 5 yards anymore. Lol

I think Belichick will take away the pass in general and play his base defense against our ailing running game. If so, then Zeke should eat but if 6 can stop our run, Dallas may get shut out in this one.

I think the coaches will try to be "cunning" and do the same basic vanilla gameplan against the Patriots and save any twists for if they see them in the SB. (Not that the Cowboy could make the SB, but that's probably what they'll do and think)

Based on past history Belichick will put his best corner on Amari and double team the #2 wr.

means Dak will have to consistently throw against their best cover guy or look to the 3rd or 4th option frequently causing him to hold the ball longer.

Belichick will give them some easier short plays betting they won’t consistently sustain drives and get more field goals then touchdowns and betting that Brady will score enough points to come out ahead.

Just when you think you have Bill's game plan figured out, he changes it at half time.

I have a feeling Gilmore will be on Gallup and they will double Amari.
This is literally exactly what will happen. Cobb, Pollard, and Jarwin could and should provide the big plays. Jamie Collins should do a good job on Witt as well if they decide to go that way.

It’s funny because we are the type of team built to beat NE. Too many weapons on offense to take one out and be done and a pass rush that forces Brady to throw quick passes all game. Problem is our coaching is way to habitual to give us much of a chance despite our personnel advantages

Agree 100%^^^

If they could just get into Brady's head A LITTLE BIT, it could cause just enough confusion to get them off the field. The Dee has to control the screens (the LBs must have great games). I think they'll be OK against Edelman.

On offense, the o-line needs to play, for pass AND run blocking. The o-line will dictate the success of the offense. They have to block well and minimize penalties. If they do, Zeke can get 25 carries and 100 yards, and Cobb, Witt and Jarwin can have solid production in the middle of the field.

And the Cowboys need good punts, and decent punt returns. Field position will matter, especially early in the game.

He will take our offense out , by keeping our Defense on , long time consuming dink and dunk possessions, which will break the bend bend and break D . When our offense gets on the field, pass rush the ... of dak and make him uncomfortable and induce mistakes , plus their secondary is good.
