Jerry: It makes no sense not to be trying to get the ball to Zeke

Agree, The team needs to go with what is working,
Formula for winning: F = ma and a = Δv ÷ Δt

  1. Outscore opponents.
  2. Move the ball by passing.
  3. Dak Cooper+Gallup + Zeke + all players - win
  4. Run Zeke, Pollard, Dak
  5. Pummel Brady - Unleash Quinn, D-Law, Bennett
  6. Mind control Belicheck
  7. Jeff "The GOAT" Heath
  8. Lee
  9. Jarwin
  10. Xavier Woods
We have Moore

Please don't start another thread about this. Jarwin, Pollard need more touches we know that. But Zeke is still our guy they need to make better plays for him in open space, not running it up the middle like the RB coach begged Kellen Moore to keep doing. I think what he is saying is that Zeke needs more touches but not the way theyve been doing it hopefully.

Cole Beasley made the comment on his way out that the FO dictates who gets the ball, and he was chastised around here, but I was one of a few folks that absolutely believed him.

Look for Zeke to get 20 carries Sunday, running into a wall each time.

This is what they're talking about on ESPN this morning. Jerry's comment to 105.3 the Fan.

He only had 18 touches against the Lions and the Owner doesn't seem to like that. Thinks Zeke has to be a bigger factor going forward.

Agree?

Zeke is a play-maker. You always get the ball into the hands of the play-makers.

I have to watch the last game again. But it looked like he was running into a brick wall. O-Line/Stacked Box? It's time to get creative w Zeke. Get our Full Back on the field with him or something.

Well considering we have visual evidence that Jerry and Stephen sit in on coaches meetings during the week I'd say that's probably true.

It's also probably the problem. Some call it cancer.

Better run blocking maybe? Zeke is the type of player where the more touches he gets, the better he gets. Just like Sean Lee.

If your offense leans too hard into pass or run, the Patriots will see the pattern and crush it. There are favorable matchups to be had against the Patriots defense (like getting any of their linebackers except Collins in space against anybody with speed), and sometimes they will bite on misdirection and fakes, or over-pursue trying to get sacks because they're way more aggressive this year than in the past. But I think if you try to make the game all about one guy you're just playing into their hands.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry calls for certain players to get the ball more than others to justify signings, extensions, trades, etc. that he and Stephen handled.

It's all part of Jerry Jones's never ending quest to receive "credit", from whomever.

Sure, yeah, that's it. Have another drink of JWB, Jerry. Paid Zeke out the ying yang, and now gotta prove he's right. Coaching from the owner's box. Pretzel logic. SMDH...
The rookie is playing better than Zeke right now.

If your facing the Patriots and you've paid your RB top dollar he should be expected to sustain long drives and wear the defense out and keep Brady off the field.

What Jerry wants and what actually happens seem to be diametrically opposed this season.

The one thing I've been critical of Dak for last season was failing to move the ball through the air when our running game is stuffed and he improved in that, albeit against some crap defenses.........but these next couple games against good defenses will tell the tale. Having said that, Zeke needs to step it up and not put so much pressure on the passing game

Jerry Jones just needs to stay quiet, they are not abandoning anything. Zeke has been ineffective so you just go with what's working .Who cares how they do it, just win baby!!!

You scheme against the defense you're playing, and use (all) your players to the best of their abilities and the weapons, plays, etc. that your group has been practicing. Some games it will make sense to have Zeke run like a madman, other games it won't. I'm no expert, but this seems like it should be coaching 101.
