Speaking of refs. Are we in another of those long streaks of no holding calls? Might just seem that way because if a couple blatant ones that weren’t called in crucial situations.

I saw two tackle to the ground holds on the Lions not called. One was on the long bomb and the guy threw his hands up as he lay on top of Lawrence as if he didn’t do anything. The ref was within 10ft. Looking directly at him.

I was thinking more of this

-Pats down by two
-At the 50
-10 seconds left
-No timeouts
-cowboys bring the house to give Brady no shot at a Hail Mary
-Quinn sacks Brady. Flag thrown(Quinn broung force down on the QB)
-replay shows otherwise.
-penalty put pats in FG range
-pats win on a long FG

The Quinn flag is the big talk the next day.

Refs email Jerry an apology letter.
Hmmm, I would say Bennett more than Quinn

Are you suggesting the refs favor the Patriots at home and that's why they have such a long winning streak on their own field? You're right!

Yeah, it couldn't be that they're a well-coached team that doesn't make a habit of beating themselves with dumb mistakes or stupid decisions.

It's those darn refs! :muttley:

i'm betting either Collins or DLaw will get that ridiculous "putting all of your body weight on the QB" roughing the passer

and it'll be on a 3rd and long play with Dallas having all the momentum (which then gets killed)

You got everything right except for one thing. The FG falls just short but Garrett calls a TO before the kick that we don't have. The penalty gives NE another shot from a closer range and they nail it...

This will not happen. Refs are too scared Garrett will get angry and throw a challenge flag really hard.

I believe Quinn will be on the new guy(wynn) the pats are activating. I cant see him containing Quinn while trying to get his legs back under and adjusting to the speed of the game.

When I watched the Browns at Patriots game anytime Cleveland made a good play on offense the refs would call a penalty. The final penalty count for the game was 13 called against Cleveland and 4 called on New England.

There will be a roughing call and that is why we signed our new cb. He will take Brady out.

ahhh, I wasn't tracking on that tidbit of info. That does make me rethink my stance a bit. Quinn may get to Brady more often, but I still think Bennett gets the flag. I will admit, I did not like Bennett and I wasn't happy with the singing, but now that he is here and disrupting up the middle...my stance has softened on him.

Or better yet how many roughing calls do you think they will call on us for touching brady. All he has to do is look at the refs and the flag comes out.

Its funny I knew where you were going with it before I opened the thread.

At least one, possibly two. Safe money says ONE.

Meanwhile Dak will be brutalized a couple times and no one will seem to notice. Garrett will clap in all instances.
