Personally I felt Lee played WLB in the last game LVE missed better than LVE has this year.

He was injured during the Eagles game. He was lucky he did not break his neck. Bad technique tackling.

The fact that the term 'career threatening' was even brought up is pretty dang concerning.

Garrett said he doesn’t “think” it’s career threatening. Anything that has to do with the neck is very concerning. This has been a rough season for LVE. Hopefully this doesn’t derail his career.

The unprovoked “not career threatening” comment by JG is certainly odd...

Odd? Yeah, I thought it was odd, as in, 'We thought we had Sean Lee's replacement. We don't.'

Best wishes to LVE and I'd like to see him return at full strength, but......

apparently LVE has a stenosis thing going like Michael Irvin,, interesting that I had not heard of it until today. Pat Kirwan was wondering if some teams might have marked him as "do not draft"

Anyone remember Merton Hanks , I think that's name. Dude had a giraffe neck always thought he'd get his broken.

I suffered a bad fall in June and screwed up my neck and I'm still feeling it. Cervical spine injuries take FOREVER to heal and it won't shock me if they shut him down till the playoffs or for the remainder of the season for that matter.

I am not so sure it's premature...these are very serious injuries and not confident they just calm down. Very unfortunate for the kid, and hope things improve.
But Lee has had multiple injuries for many years. His body just has not held up. LVE has had one nagging pain in the neck injury(pun intended)
Let’s this play out before calling him a player made of glass like Lee.

That’s exsremely a premature comment/opnion
That said; potentially could be must worse. Neck is injury’s are scary.

I hope not!!!

It's really not and there have been red flags since college. This place is in denial about it, and so is LVE.

This guys seems off this year and he's been playing soft? He misses a bunch of tackles, always chasing someone from behind? He's definitely regressed this season. Maybe he needs to sit for a while and get hungry again.

While I agree with you it's only his second year, but a neck injury is considered anything but a "nagging" one. Read guotes and nobody is suggesting this is just a paper cut, I sense something more major is evolving here and I don't like the tone I am sensing

I'm 99.9% sure it's cervical radiculopathy due to a disc herniation. Pretty common within his age range.
