Probably because we thought we would get the ball back to score a TD. But I agree with Troy.I would think our coaching staff knows much more than myself about football. Can someone explain why in the hell we kicked for a FG to make the game a 4 point deficit? Most stupid call I have seen all year.

I don't think it was the wrong choice. We got the ball back with 2:38 left with a chance to win the game. And the refs would have none of it

Probably because lack of confidence in an offense during bad weather conditions...too conservative. It's Garrett's MO unless he's backed into a corner. But why not tie the game in lieu of make it a 2 possession game?

1. Low probability of converting 4th &7
2. Kicking FG allows room for defense to give up a FG to the Patriots and still keeping it a one possession game.
3. If defense gets a stop, gives offense opportunity to win the game instead of tying and going to OT.
I can understand wanting to go for it there, but it isn’t a clear cut decision. I agreed with the call to kick a FG personally and I hate Garrett.
