It would have been a holding penalty in that case. Either way a penalty was going to be called to stop the drive.

Left the game beginning of the 4th quarter. The biased pats radio guys were talking about the phantom tripping calls. And how atrocious the ref crew was.

I’ve seen worse tripping in soccer and hockey games. That is not tripping because if it was than all DL men have to do if they can’t get to the qb is is stumble to the ground and lift the OL leg. Kinda like if a basketball player goes in for lay up that is going to be contested, his teammate slaps his hand to get the foul.

You’re right. But those plays are correctable and are within the rules of the game. Calling fouls that aren’t fouls is not part of the game and there’s no way to correct or work around rare calls like tripping.

How many get tripping calls? Illegal fake sub calls? False start on long snapper calls? Unsportsmanlike on coach calls?

There’s been 7 tripping calls in the entire nfl this season. 2 were on us in one game. Someone else can do that math.

When you play conservative games the refs can come in and wreck shhhh.

Whether we won or not we should have been given the opportunity with fair play. That was a bs call. JJ will get a letter from the refs this week that says our bad.

This was my first thought and I think it's a high probability he did, considering it's a rare penalty to begin with and we get 2 in the same game that weren't even tripping. IMO, the refs had to be looking for it.

Thats exactly right...It would have been nice to see if we could have driven the filed and had a chance to win.

What in the Cowboys recent history gives you confidence that the line will block effectively on 3rd and 1?

it didnt help for sure having bad calls on us especially that late drive BUT lets get it real.. 10-0 down due to a block punt and on the road in NE this was exactly what they said going in couldn't be done. you spotted them 10 in the rain cold windy game.. you gave them the game nearly at that point with big hill to climb..

we win a clean game I saw us with better team but we cant overcome a game like this against that team in that place with those conditions getting down 10 early with short fields..

another bad start to game, its our identity but no dry field turf to light up the friendly skies was the weapon NE had at home now 21-0.we arent the only victims..10-1 we arent the only loss to this team..

the key to me play clean play smart neither happened=LOSS

thats 19 point total over 5 losses, under 4points per loss.. really what could of been type of season..

why is the ST coach still here, you cant fire a HC with 4 day to another game or still in a dog fight for the division BUT want to make a statement FIRE THE ST COACH TODAY.. most likely the quick turnaround saves him for one game, the 10day following might be different story.. 3 weeks in row horrible ST mistakes..
