The Good - Well nobody got hurt, the Eagles lost and Troy Aikman pointed out our inept coaching staff and Jerry also took note of it, believe me that's a good thing.

The Bad - The weather was gross and Oh look mom another slow start and no touchdowns for the number one ranked offense in the league. Tyron Smith is just racking up the penalties for the Cowboys, his holding penalty killed a big play and a first down. Amari Cooper has as many catches as I did in that game yesterday. The defense had zero turnovers for the third game in a row and the Cowboys are 0-fer against teams with winning records this year and will someone hold these NFL referees accountable it's a disgrace.

The Ugly - That was hands down the worst special teams performance in the history of the Dallas Cowboys WOW it just kept getting worse and worse. Drop balls, not being able to figure out your own punt formation and situation, a blocked punt which was huge and led to the only touchdown of the game but the one thing that really pisses me off the most was how the hell in that wind do you have your kick returner Pollard all the way back at the goal line when the ball didn't even make it to the ten yard line. I said in my prediction on Friday that this was such a coaching mismatch and man that was a total understatement, that Cowboys coaching staff didn't even belong on the same field as the Patriots staff! It's been a long time since I've been this frustrated with a Cowboys team because they have a lot of good players but continue to underachieve and after yesterday I don't know if this team is headed in the right direction.

I can't believe all the posters ragging Tyron Smith and/or the offensive line. Both penalties were horse poop. The line stuffed the Patriots pass rush. Coaching lost this game.

You don't know if this team is headed in the right direction after 11 weeks of inconsistency and mediocrity? They are obviously NOT headed in the right direction. Once again, offense and defense can't click at the same time. Once again, we lost a close, winnable game. Once again, our special teams look inept.

The tripping penalty was BS but that was definitely holding!

2 BS tripping penalties and the blatant intentional grounding noncall made a big difference in the game.

You're 100% right about the inconsistency and mediocrity part but I still think they win the division but after that it's probably one and done!

The weather was a big factor in the game for both teams. If that game was played in good weather, the Cowboys offense would have gotten its usual 430 yards and a few TDs. And New England would have gotten more yards and TDs too. I have no doubt about that. I also believe the weather clearly favored New England. Gronk made a comment about the Patriots practicing in weather like that and I think its a valid point. It was clear the Cowboys were too focused on the weather and unprepared for it when the game started. Dak in particular was struggling until he put a glove on. Then he started to throw the ball better. But by then, the Cowboys were down 10 points. Witten struggled to hold on to the football and I think the weather effected Amari Cooper too.

To me, the ugly is the same every week. Its poor tackling. As good as the defense played overall, poor tackling plagues this team. Time and again, the Patriots got extra yards after the initial contact by a Cowboys defender. We are so used to it, we don't even count it as a problem anymore. Byron Jones is a great player, if the job was to just follow a receiver around the field, but Byron does not like to tackle. When he has to he is really, really bad at it. He is not the only one.

If the Cowboys tackled like the 49ers or the Patriots, they would have held New England to about 150 yards and just those 10 points they got off the blocked punt and INT.
